Hugh Hewitt is one of the better radio hosts when he confronts members of the news media on their bias, and he gave us all a New Year’s present when he confounded Ben Smith on a headline calling the “dead cops chant” a MYTH.

As Hewitt points out, it isn’t really a “myth” if there’s actual VIDEO of the event and there’s other examples of threats to cops on social media.
The headline has been changed and the article now bears this correction:
A headline on the front page of BuzzFeed described the chant of “dead cops” as a “myth.” In fact, marchers appearing to chant those words appear on a YouTube video embedded in this post.
But people on Twitter spread the message that it was a “myth”:
