Rep. Mark Meadows, the chairman of the Freedom Caucus, admits he “desperately” wants to get to a “yes.”

I have to say, everyone is freaking out right now, but if they pass anything at all, Trump will say he conquered the world, his sycophantic followers will sing “hosanna to Trump in the highest,” and no one will remember this embarrassing episode at all. But, that’s a big IF right now… even bigly.
