‘Isn’t captivity punishment enough?!’ – CNN on Bergdahl desertion

In just the latest episode of “liberals don’t understand the military at all,” there’s CNN’s Brooke Baldwin who questions whether Bowe Bergdahl has “suffered enough” by being in captivity for five years, even though he betrayed his fellow service members.

I guess she has to ask the question, but it’s almost like asking if bears poop in the woods. Yes, Brooke, and CNN, it doesn’t matter how bad Bergdahl’s feelings were hurt because he walked out on his service to our country, betrayed that country and his fellow service members, and may have caused the death of soldiers who were looking for him. So YES he needs to face a court martial.

Further, it’s not even clear if he was in “captivity” the entire five years, or if part of that time he had sided with them. But I guess CNN would like to leave him off the hook because it makes Obama look like a damn idiot:
