Lindsey Graham made it pretty clear what he thought would happen to Trump if he fired special counsel Robert Mueller.

I’m actually not sure that is the case. If he fired Mueller, it would basically be a challenge to Republicans, since Democrats already want to impeach him. How many Republicans would actually stand up to him? Hmmm…
Also Graham leaves a VERY important caveat in the beginning of his segment – he says if Trump fired Mueller “without cause.” How many cowardly Republicans will come to his defense and say it was with cause even if it wasn’t?
These are all empty threats. Trump could fire Mueller tomorrow, and his sycophants would come completely to his defense. That’s why Sean Hannity and everyone else on Fox News are trying to undermine the credibility of Mueller, they’re prepping the field so that they can say Trump fired him with cause.
