Biden is a smacked a$$...... For one thing if your going to use a shotgun for home defense the only thing worse than a double barrel is a single shot....get a pump or autoloader that holds 7 or 8 shells.
However if you want to defend the country against freedom hating gun grabbing tyrants like Biden and his boss get an AR-15 or other comparable short barreled semi-automatic rifle and learn how to use it.

In some ways it's actually pretty sexist for Biden to say this, because it implies that Biden believes that women don't have minds of their own, that they're incapable of forming their own judgements, and of deciding what their own needs are.

Who made Joe the expert on what weapon to use in a situation?? The whole point of freedom is that I can choose which gun I want to use. You don't get to dictate to us what is the proper mode of defense. And if so where does it stop??

His advice here is just as stupid. "Take the shot gun out, fire two rounds and I guarantee nobody is coming in." (or words to this effect)
First lets discuss the loading and unloading of a double barrel shot gun. Takes some time to break it down, reload and then look for the target to reacquire it.
The pattern of a shot gun blast should suffice wit in 20 meters, depending on the choke of the barrell, and the type of shell, but if you miss, a person bent on doing harm, could easily cover this distance before a person gets the old double barrel reloaded. An automatic hand gun with even a 10 round mag provides more opportunities to engage a would be criminal. And let’s face it, the closer a person is, the easier it is to engage them.
Even if you have a shoulder pad on the stock of a shotgun, the kick of a 12 gauge shotgun takes some time getting used to for many. A 20 gauge has less of a kick, but also has less stopping power. So for any woman who is going to take old Joe's advice, get a pump shotgun, with a large load capacity, (as many shells as the gun can hold) and get used to the kick.
Now back to the quote, by trying to convince women that they should limit their own ability to defend themselves, is just the practice of slowly limiting the woman's means to protect themselves. Slowly Joe and other liberals will keep decreasing our rights until we have none and will be put back into chains.
A woman should say: "excuse me, mister killer, I have to go outside and shoot my shotgun, if you let me get it"?

For an untrained/ inexperienced shooter a pump shotgun is a very marginal choice with many negatives. Most would be far better off with a good handgun.

My wife's tactical 12 gauge auto loader holds six rounds (5 +1) with an 18 inch barrel. She can unload all six of them in about 2 seconds...either from the chamber or the muzzle :-)
So let me see if I've got this straight: Lefty men like Slo Joe Biden, say women shouldn't carry guns because they have a tendency to - let's just say "overreact" - and if a woman's "spidey senses" tell her she might be in danger she'll probably just shoot some guy who is really "harmless" and has no intention of raping her. So "hysterical" women need to defend themselves by vomiting, pooping, screaming, whistles, scissors, ball point pens, or - if they do have a gun - shooting it up in the air.
