John Bolton says the White House leaking the name of the CIA Chief of Station in Afghanistan is jaw-droppingly stupid and said someone’s head should role for this. He questions whether Ben Rhodes, who has been in his position for five years and knows what a CIA Chief of Station is, is checking these emails before they go out.
Considering the Valerie Plame issue under the Bush admin, he said that was just a malicious piece of gossip released by Richard Armitage and it can’t really be compared to this incident, something he called utter incompetence.
