JUST IN: Supreme Court to rule on case involving gay wedding cakes!

Great news! The Supreme Court has accepted the religious freedom case involving Jack Phillips and his bakery Masterpiece Cakeshop vs gay fascists who were angry he wouldn’t make them a gay wedding cake:

Here’s more:

DC EXAMINER – The Supreme Court decided Monday to hear a case involving a Colorado baker’s refusal to design and make a cake for a same-sex marriage.

The baker, Jake Phillips, declined to make the custom cake and said it conflicted with his religious beliefs. The Colorado Civil Rights Commission decided that Phillips’ actions amounted to sexual orientation discrimination under the Colorado Anti-Discrimination Act.

The Colorado Court of Appeals said the commission’s ruling did not violate the First Amendment because Phillips’ speech was “conduct compelled by a neutral and generally applicable law,” as attorneys for Phillips noted in their petition to the high court.

A little over a year ago the Colorado Supreme Court declined to take on this case and it looked like nearly all was lost. But now that SCOTUS has decided to hear it, a chance for religious freedom do win the day over gay fascism still exists!

The case will be heard in the fall.
