Keith Ellison on Voter ID laws: Republicans trying to stay in power by weeding out Democrat voters

Rep. Keith Ellison told the propaganda news outlet RT that voter fraud is not a problem in America and the only reason Republicans are pursuing Voter ID laws is to keep themselves in power by weeding out Democrat voters:

All of a sudden he’s concerned about cost – when it’s something he’s against. But put another trillion dollar stimulus bill on the table and he’ll vote for it quicker than you can say Allahu Ackbar.

Also Mr. Ellison, here’s the non-existent voter ID fraud in Florida.

So he agree’s that illegal voters are democrats.

    • MiketheMarine

      funny. Dead on target, too.

    • Maxsteele

      Exactly what I thought immediately.

    • I’m sure many of those illegal voters were Republicans before they died.

      • sno_warrior

Republicians before death…democrates after death! Makes sense to me, eh?!!!?

        • warpmine

Gives new meaning to the Iron Maiden album, Live After Death. I suppose this is what DemonRats always meant.

  • gilleysuited

Of course he is since most illegal voters are Demobamabots!

  • celestiallady

Do these people have their head buried in the sand only to come up to say something completely stupid. We are so sick and tired of this.

  • Get the illegals out, get the dead people out, get the felons out, get the cartoon characters out and we’ll have no more power. Damm those evil republicans.

    • Nukeman60

Bedee, bedee, bedee, bedat’s aaaall, folks. Vote Democwat, you silly wabbit. 🙂

  • People calling for voter ID are trying to Protect the integrity of the electoral system. To ensure that only truly legitimate voters get to vote! Only somebody that has no respect for that system or is attempting to corrupt or game that system for political gain could be such a proposal as voter ID.

  • The “Congressman from CAIR” should be investigated and found to have illegally benefited from gifts received solely because of his elected position. He received a “free trip to Mecca” paid for by his Islamist cronies. He did get it approved by the House Ethics Committee (then run by the ethics challenged Democratic Party Majority). He did not seek the truth regarding election fraud in Mn, but took an immediate political stance, and defended that which was not a known fact. Has he ever opposed a spending bill, except for political advantage? A congressman who has no questions, is not the same as a congressman with all of the answers.

  • Nukeman60

Part of the search of the lists in Florida consists of sending a letter to whomever they claim to be illegally registered and those people are given a chance to prove their legality in order to vote. Sounds like an intelligent and logical approach to me. Now what in the world could be wrong with that? Is it possible that illegals and the walking dead are unable to respond or what?

And why do so many dead people turn to the Democrat Party, anyway? Is there a false promise to pull them from the burning fire if they vote the same way they did when alive? Hmmm…

  • NJK

I think, this Muslim infiltrator, needs to rephrase that, Republicans trying to weed out illegal voters. Are you saying, if you’re a so called Democrat, that you don’t have the IQ to show a photo ID? Do they drive? If they’re this inept, they shouldn’t be driving or voting. This guy is a total fraud. He’s a Muslim Brotherhood operative. Did you see this?

  • Army_Pilot1967

Is it me or does it seem like only Democrats/Liberals are against voter ID laws? What’s up with that????? If it was such a unpalatable requirement, Republicans would also be against such laws. For the life of me, I don’t see a problem with proving who you are and verifying that you are registered to vote before you get the opportunity to cast your vote. We already do that here in Georgia.

  • Sober_Thinking

How imbeciles like this guy gain then hold public office is beyond me.

  • ApplePie101

Ted Turner’s TCM used to play “The Great McGinty”, about a bum who starts out voting multiple times in the same election, and winds up as mayor, engineered by a corrupt political party. They haven’t shown that film in a few years. I wonder why.

  • Joe

All I know is that the democRATS are in a panic
    I am happy!

  • We would not have Barack Obama today if the voting system was legit. Al Franken is another example of voter fraud and that’s in Minnesota.

  • marketcomp

What a butch of hogwash! Isn’t what Ellison said contradictory. Ok he says voter fraud is not a problem and admits that its expensive for the States so he needs to communicate that to the Obama Administration.

  • libertyandtyranny

I’m sick of the dems trying to create massive paranoia every time they get caught breaking the law. THEY support voter fraud, because they don’t support voter ID!

  • Weeding out the people who voted for this clown is not a crime. it deserves a freakin’ medal.

  • The last time I checked the democrats held a majority of government.

  • EchoMike

Is it strange to anyone else that it appears the Democratic voting block seems to be FILLED with people who evidently don’t have any kind of legitimate voter ID? Meaning they don’t drive, buy alcohol, cigarettes, cash checks or even have a bank account, get on a plane, or checkout a library book.
Thankfully most normal people aren’t buying this and these people opposing it are making themselves look straight ignorant!

  • tularockstar

So, Ellison will be, once again, dispatching his New Black Panther party friends to make sure that all (black and illegal Hispanics) get to vote.

  • So Democrats admit the only way they can win is to cheat.

  • tvlgds

He may have a point-many democrat voters are dead, illegal, convicted felons, out of staters, etc. , so yeah, we do want to weed out certain “democrat” voters.

  • ryanomaniac

Ive met a few people at work who believe this BS. I asked if they knew anyone without an ID and felt discriminated against. They say, absolutely. Ive told everyone of them that if they would send these folks too me i would go to the DMV and pay for it myself. All of them. Two people showed up….in a Cadillac and Lincoln. They drove!!! I couldn’t quit laughing case they told me I didn’t have to go with them. They could do it on their own, they say, with an attitude.

  • pdxlady

Congressman Ellison needs to go NOW. He needs to be relieved of his Congressional duties in this election.

Does anyone in Minn. know if there is a challenger for his seat this term? I live in Oregon, but I donated to his challenger in 2010 (obviously, he didn’t win). We need to organize better to have Conservative alternatives to these far (out) lefties. We don’t need Muslims in Congress, especially members of the Muslim Brotherhood…he was sworn in on a Koran, for heaven’s sake. I don’t believe that they have the best interest of the USA in their hearts.

I digress, but why is Socialist Bernie Sanders always unchallenged and re-elected year after year? And Pat “Leaky” Leahy…what is wrong with those people in Vermont? Of course, Oregon is not much better.

So glad I got that off my chest. 😀 Thanks!

    • actionsspeaklouder

Well, at least we got rid of that whacko David Wu. I’m here in Southern Oregon (which is far more conservative than Portland, Salem, etc.) and we have Ron Wyden (D), Jeff Merkley (D), and Greg Walden (R). Too bad we can’t get rid of the Socialist DeFazio. I think Democrats know they all are in trouble. It would be phenominal if Oregon went Republican in November. Unemployment here is very bad and the housing market is horrific. Gas and food prices are through the roof. I don’t understand how some people can vote Democrat – the ones with their hands out will – but many more will not this November.

      • Lives4Freedom

All we need to do is donate the greater Portland metro area to Washington. It’s right on the border so it will be a piece of cake. That should cure Oregon of it’s socialism for a good half-century.

  • What is a lie is every word that comes out of this POS’ mouth.

  • G_unitttt

my Rep Ellison is a complete idiot………he’s got no argument and no logic

  • hosepipe

Ellison is lying.. theres massive voter fraud.. worse in some places but evident in many States.. My State requires photo ID.. but the dead still vote in other places and its very possible to vote multiple times in many places..

Some places are the “way they are” because of voter fraud.. Stuffing the ballot box doesnt always happen out on the open… it can come after the polls close.. Secret stuffing happens when political machines(chicago, NYC etc..) don’t get required outcomes..

  • bjohnson55

    From the mouth of Ellison himself. Democrat voters are;
    1. Illegals
    2. Dead
    3. Felons
    5. Canadian
    6. Mexican

  • Susitna

For America it is a problem; but for the Democratic Party it is a solution.

  • WestGAFlash

That’s actually the smartest thing Abdullah Ellison ever said.

  • 12grace

    Ellison has no credibility.

Did you know that Islam has already infiltrated Congress? Muslim Rep. Keith Ellison, D-Minn., embarked on a 24-hour hunger strike in solidarity with Occupy DC protesters!

  • jackl92

Weeding out democrat voters WHO HAVE NO RIGHT TO VOTE. Keith Ellison is a moron.

  • Me: Democrats trying to seize power by exploiting loose voting requirements and inaccurate voting rolls to allow easier vote fraud.

  • hbnolikeee

I’m glad to hear this moron admit that many democratic voters and in fact illegal. Sounds like case closed on this to me and we all need to dig in on this fraud.

  • TLaMana

If Democratic voters are the dead, felons and people who vote under false names then, yes, we are trying to weed out those voters.

  • warpmine

Well we tried insitance on civics test but that would be to obvious a plan and besides that would limit the DemonRat voter rolls by about 98%.

  • richarddonna

Ellison supports CAIR, an unindicted coconspirator in the HOLY LAND terror financing case. Nothing else needs to be said.

  • Keith should explain in detail, how having an ID when voting,is “weeding out Democrats”. I need an ID when cashing a check, buying alcohol, and many other things that EVERYONE does, not just non Democrats. He represents such a narrow spectrum in Minneapolis. The common person? Absolutely not!
