Trump has officially flip flopped on one of his big campaign promises, with Kellyanne Conway confirming on Morning Joe today that Trump will not pursue an investigation into either the email scandal or the Clinton foundation:

So Trump wants to help Hillary heal? C’mon.
The investigation into Hillary isn’t about going backward as Kellyanne suggested, but about doing the right thing. I am so happy she lost the election but that doesn’t change what she did at all.
If Trump really had a true heart for pursuing justice, this wouldn’t even be a question. But rather he feels like he can just dole out his own version of justice because it belongs to him now or something.
And what about all those campaign promises about this? I guess they meant nothing to him then and certainly mean nothing to him now. Just a ruse to help get him elected.
