One look at Twitter and you’ll see that many on both the right and the left are disturbed by what happened in the Eric Garner case and many believe that the officer should have been indicted on at least a neglect charge. But while there may be agreement on this, most on the right agree this had nothing to do with race while many on the left are trying to make it about race.
On CNN, Kevin Jackson from Blacksphere just refuted a similar argument by a black CNN host who claimed that another incident occurred somewhere else that went viral with a large white subject punching police and yet they deescalated the situation properly, using tasers and not a choke hold.
