Krauthammer gives 3 possibilities why Dempsey suggested ground troops today, none of which “inspire confidence”

Earlier today Gen. Martin Dempsey, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, told the Senate that if the current plan with the coalition fails to defeat ISIS, then he will recommend ground troops going forward, despite the president’s claim that there will be no ground troops.

Given this apparent division between Dempsey and Obama, Krauthammer says there are 3 possibilities why Dempsey suggested ground troops and he’s not thrilled with either of them:
