You are entering the vicinity of an area adjacent to a location. The kind of place where there might be a monster, or some kind of weird mirror. These are just examples; it could also be something much better. Prepare to enter: The Scary Door.*

Some clips just speak for themselves. Other clips are hilarious and unself-aware parodies of themselves. And still other clips make you question who you are as a human being and your place on this earth. This clip is the second one.

Lawrence O’Donnell has to try really, really hard to be any more of a ridiculous dancing clown puppet of a human being than he already is. But bless his heart, he keeps working at it. Tonight, he, Lawrence O’Donnell, self-proclaimed socialist and a guy that has previously suggested that Rick Santorum was a closet homosexual who is “deeply confused”, cut away to Santorum talking about Chris Christie’s personnel choices, to favorably use the clip as a smart indictment of the governor. He even praises it as a “businessman’s analysis.” MSNBC is that invested in Chris Christie’s destruction, be it for its own sake or in preparation for 2016.

MSNBC has jumped the shark, made a u-turn, climbed up onto the shark, ridden the shark through three giant hoops of fire, taught the shark Esperanto, and then bludgeoned the shark to death with a toy bridge and made Eric Holder bobbleheads out of it.

*Thank you, Futurama.

I think the media is crazy obvious in their attempt to get rid of Chris
Christie for Hillary. They are not focusing on the important news
of the day, however, we should not fool ourselves that they ever did.

That said, I am glad they are getting rid of him for the conservative base.

    • aposematic

This is minor league, the Press/MSM can destroy Christie any time they want…they are just waiting to see if the winning point might be needed in 2016.

    • Steve Angell

These guys take marching orders. Whoever gives them is no idiot. I am wary of Cruz at this point. That report of the Democrat Congresswoman who accompanied him for 32 hours to South Africa was very troubling to me. Now this. No way Christie was ever going to be nominated now with all those pictures of his love fest with Obama during an election.

I remember the build up of GW Bush and this is just all so familiar.

      • ryanomaniac

Wary of Cruz because of what a democrat congresswoman said??¿?? Dude, come on. Can I get a link to this story?

        • las1

try this … Gwen Moore & Cruz

As far as I can see in this fawning interview on msnbc Moore seemed somewhat normal and even sentient, if that’s possible for a Dem.

One quote from Moore about Cruz… “he was courteous and very much a gentleman”. Well… gee! I’m glad she cleared that one up. So out of character for a Republican. She was shocked. The poor guy was a lamb thrown into the vipers pit. All the more reason to vote Cruz.

      • Amjean

I forgot about the Cruz trip to South Africa for Mandela’s
funeral. Seemed self serving to me at the time.
In fact, the whole orchestrated funeral (rumor was they were keeping Mandela “alive” while they planned the funeral for months) was self serving to many who attended. Just
another political photo op for most.

A Democrat Congresswoman’s word is always worth it’s weight in bs. See the link below… Congresswoman Moore mistakes logic and truth telling for GOP talking points. Typical from Democrats who can’t think logically or rationally. She was not swayed from her anti-TeaParty hate no doubt… even though she couched her conversation in velvet and was most pleasant. Here’s the link:

That’s my take on it as well. It’s kinda amusing to see liberals jump all over Christie because he’s a Republican or something… just because that’s what liberals are supposed to do… jump all over Republicans.

Liberals… as always GUSA! (Gloriously-un-self-aware) Still clueless that Christie is one of them.

  • aposematic

This is all so much MSM/Press BS that I have tuned it out. It is interesting to a point of why these supposed R’s keep going on these Progressive shows to propagate/proliferate the Progressive meme….so very sadly disgusting!

  • Press Watchusa

Somehow this DOLT stays under the radar and hasn’t had to apologize YET!

but LARRY is a real mental case

I would love to meet some of his fellow “outpatients”

They would make the “Cuckoos Nest” patients seem sane!

  • naro

I see nothing wrong with the clip. It was very sensible and I agree that Christie appointed utter morons for high positions which tell me that he could not be trusted in high position in business or government to appoint competent people.

    • Caleb Howe

The problem isn’t what Santorum said. What’s ridiculous is O’Donnell.

    • cattastrophe

Like Obama Christie did not use poor judgement when he appointed the people who surrounded him. He appointed people who agreed with him. It’s no surprise they would try to carry out some kind of vindictive action on Christie’s behalf since that is who Christie is.

      • Galatiansch2vs20

But isn’t it an indicator with your description about the men’s characters that like-minded appointments are an inherent reflection of Obama’s and Christie’s own poor judgement in governance?

    • Galatiansch2vs20

If you were speaking of the Santorum clip- I agree! He was right about Christie!

  • Nukeman60

If it were up to me, I’d be sending a memo around to all Conservatives and Republicans alike to tell them to respond to idiot leftists like this:

“Well, that is a very interesting point you are trying to make, but does it answer the question as to why the Benghazi fiasco was preventable when Hillary thinks it makes no difference that four Americans died?”

Do that every time until the American voter understands that Hillary is NOT an option. Period.

That would effectively nullify their attempts (both blatant and not so obvious) to promote her for 2016.

  • PNWShan

Santorum’s point goes 100 times for Obama. Who does Obama hire? Radicals, racists (Holder is #1 racist), people who would sick the IRS on political grassroots opponents, people who would raid Gibson Guitars on false charges ….

  • Swamp Fox

Write a book Caleb… you will sell millions!

  • ApplePie101

    MSNBC is inside the shark.

  • I like the shark commentary. What an entertaining verbal tapdance that was. It just needs two small wordlets at the end of it: “Ta da!”

    🙂

  • PhillyCon

Leftists do this kind stuff all the time. Don’t worry ODonnell will be back to his conservative bashing self if Santorum gains traction.

These people are predictable as the day is long.

Re: Christie: he should have known better than to greedily seek out Dem endorsements when he already had the election won. Plus throwing House Republicans under the bus for being concerned about pork in the Sandy bill is something I’d call Karma and the b word.

  • c4pfan

That’s the usual M.O. for Libs to use quotes against someone

  • jrt67

Santorum is right! but look how those libs will flip flop the truth of the matter. Let’s call things for what they truly are. This is our problem as a society in a nut shell. A hand full of Christies people decided to teach someone a lesson by commuting an evil act and Santorum is the problem

    • Galatiansch2vs20

It definitely had to do with commuting- but I think you may have meant committing? :0)

  • Crassus

Yet MSNBC still manages to beat CNN in the ratings. The only way this madness will stop is if CNN can somehow recover. That’s unlikely seeing as how the nut who made MSNBC what it is today now runs CNN.

    • CO2isGood

MSNBC has been last in ratings between Fox CNN and MSNBC for many, many years.

      • Crassus

Not anymore. They’ve long since passed CNN. For several years now.

  • las1

I kinda sorta guess it’s some sort of “weird mirror”. But honestly… it’s nothing we’ve not seen before. Butter up a GOP turkey as if he’s just oh so cute to have on for an interview. Get him to sort-a bash a fellow Republican (cough… cough) with some softball nonsense about “personnel being policy”. And it all washes out as Republicans bad.

I think it’s standard fare on the lib media, is it not?

  • Futurama and Rod Serling in one paragraph. Extra marks.

    • Laurel

      I agree!

I’m still picking my jaw up off of the desk and beating back the envy monster.

  • Laurel

Just when I think Lawrence O’Donnell can’t get anymore evil he somehow manages it.

  • lawngren

Caleb, you take the 2014 award for hilarious and voluminous metaphor. I don’t have to wait to hear the rest of the year; you’re it.

Great thinkers, such as Hume, Smith, and Bastiat, helped discover and refine the principles of individualism and its associated liberty.

  • Jordan Satterfield

Hey TRS, Could you turn up the volume on the clips you post? All of them seem so quiet. I don’t have that problem on the Blaze and other similar sights. I love the content that you guys bring, just please crank it up a bit.
