Actually he said, “I can tell you one damn thing, this Democrat is not voting for Barack Obama!”.

Levin had a 70 year-old caller today who identified himself as a Truman-Democrat who is also a Tea Party member. And he’s working as hard as he can to keep Barack Obama from winning a second time.

He added if that if Kennedy were alive, he’d have to be a Republican.

Yeah, this guy is awesome:

What a great post RS. The more slams against the Tea Party, the stronger it will grow. 2012 is going to be history making.

What was the actual Carter / Reagan election split in popular/electoral/state results? I really think we could be seeing an even bigger lopsided victory for the Republicans this time around. Can’t you feel the momentum building?

We will certainly need rollbacks to the Obama policies that are so ruinous to the country. Be even more, I demand that we see INVESTIGATIONS into every facet of this illegal administration; the czars, the regulations, the foreign policies, the cronies, the fundraising. All of it.

The Democrat Party hasn’t been the same since the progressive movement. It’s the word they made up so that people wouldn’t freak out when they took over the Party.

Fantastic post. Everyone needs to listen to this.

To be fair, the Democratic Party has a long long history of nastiness, but at least prior to that they were consistent and could actually lead worth a damn.

He’s absolutly right, obama is not your dad’s democrat. He’s a marxtst.

Damn straight, & an Alinsky tactician in “practice.”

I can’t remember far enough back that the Dems were not Marxist. How about circa Grover Cleveland, the first post Civil War Dem? Because certainly the next two – WW and FDR – are as left as Obama.

Sure, as late as the Ciinton Adm, there were still a few Dems like Sen Sam Nunn who were to the right of Repubs like Sen Lowell Weicker. But basically, my father’s and grandfather’s and great-grandfather’s Dems included those who were protecting the Commies during McCarthy times or emulating Fascists during the 30’s.

Only if it’s on the Democrat side.

While I understand what you are saying, I would really like to see a country class party rise up to dethrone the self appointed elites of both major parties. When you have Rep snatching cameras away from citizens is there really much difference anymore?

        • http://www.therightscoop.com/ therightscoop

Wait, I thought you liked Sarah Palin. She isn’t going to run third party, she’s going to run as a Republican. Third party wont get her elected.

Don’t worry everyone is all abuzz over what that creep did at RINOstate. RS McCain has got it up and Riehl is also in the mix. This election is going to be a battle for the heart and soul of the Republican party. I actually think the general will be anticlimactic.
He’ll calm down. Some days you just get fed up with the establishment machine calling in their markers. He will have his armor on and ready to suit up shortly.

Palin like Reagan sees the way to change the GOp party is from within. I think that is the best way if it can be done. but Palin represents the country class. so hewr victory would be in the same ballpark.

No it is time to eliminate Political Parties all together.

Wow. This caller really gets how the Dems have been co-opted by the most radical elements, pulling them away from a comparatively moderate heritage. This is why I love to mention JFK as an example of supply-side economics and tax-cutting as a means to increase revenue. Or FDR as an example of a Dem who eschewed public sector unions. But it just does not compute for 99% of libs. Like a fouled up robot, you can see the smoke rising out of their left ear as their circuits are blown – it is all cognitive dissonance and no comprehension.

RS, Thanks for putting this up so fast. I was listening and loved it. Just had to drop in and see if you had it up so I could spread it around.

    Thanks again.

I sure wish my sweet mother in law would realize this. Nothing short of breaking her satelite dish and taking away her remote will get her to turn of the danged propaganda which has slowly brainwashed the poor woman.

My Dad is 83 years old and had never voted anything but a straight democratic ticket until 2008 when he voted for McCain. He said the man(Obama) is not what he is being made out to be and he will ruin race relations in this country. This is a man with an 8th grade education and a PHD in common sense and life. He never refused to give a man a helping hand to this day. My mother says he would give his last pair of underwear to a drunk if he asked for them. But they have plenty and have been blessed with a long healthy life.

I LOVE this guy, who reminds me of my father, a JFK Democrat.. whom no longer exists anymore, as these radical liberal fascists, have hijacked and destroyed their own Party, with Obama as their Fuhrer..

In the late 1970’s, after I enlisted in the US Military and now am retired after 20 years, I became a Constitutional Conservative Reagan Republican, in 1980, and then my father became a Reagan Democrat, along with Millions of other Patriotic Americans in 1980.

    Great interview.!!

From time to time, you hear one like this or read an editorial like this – but you never hear the reverse. You never hear someone say they voted against Obama, but he really won them over.

Wikipedia says it was 51% for Reagan and 41% for Carter. 7% went to Anderson, a Rockefeller Republican running independent.

Reagan carried 44 states and took 489 electoral votes out of 538.

“…if Kennedy were alive, he’d have to be a Republican.”

When I changed parties (mid 70’s), I did one last thing before I left the house. I read John Kennedy’s Inaugural Address and some of his writings. Odd as it might be, that’s what solidified my decision to become a Republican. I saw the Dems were headed in a strange and unwise direction.

This man is absolutely right JFK could not be a Democrat today – he would have to be a Republican.

Thanks for posting this – I missed this show.
