Why are we at all concerned what mindless gorilla Bill Press says? Except now I have to apologize to all mindless gorillas for comparing him to them.
First off comparing Bill to mules is insulting to mules, they are much smarter. I don't know who said it first but, " the outside of a horse is really good medicine for the inside of a human. We bought a horse for our daughter to help her get over an eating disorder, and she's healthy today. Too bad he can't get close to a horse himself, but they are a good judge of character. He'd probably get kicked or bit.

Are you a snob if you own a plane? A Ferrari? Owning expensive items or doing what rich people do (e.g. play polo) is "snobbery"? What an incredibly stupid thing to say. And picking on a woman who has MS is despicable. Elizabeth Edwards walked on water as far as the left is concerned, but again we see this double standard of attacking anyone for anything if they are on the right. SO ugly. Bill Press, shame on you. Someone should teach you a lesson in basic civility.
What a disgrace. She is a well spoken, and lovely lady who beat breast cancer and will make a great first lady. How can you criticize anyone like her.

First let me say this was a despicable tirade from a person I never knew existed and wish I still didn't. Being a retired Army soldier, who is, according to the Veterans Administration, 50% disabled; would like to tell this individual that he should shut his trap. I have osteoarthritis over most of my joints and was told by the V.A, doctors that the best thing for me was to be active. I am in no way comparing osteoarthritis against MS. What I am saying is that often you don't see the pain a person is in. I have disabled veterans plates on both vehicles and still park in regular parking spots away from the entrance of a building to get some extra walking in. I still try and walk/run 4 miles three times a week in an effort to stay active. I still lift on my bowflex at least three times a week to combat the effects of my condition. Sorry for the rant, but the point I am trying to make is simply this. If you met me on the street, never having met me before, you would be hard pressed to see I am "disabled". In fact many who know me and see the tags on my vehicle often laugh and ask if I’m psychotic, I usually laugh and say yes. This self centered idiot may have friends that have MS, but he doesn't know personally what Mrs. Romney is going through or the method of therapy that helps her cope with her condition. I guess this person would prefer that Ann Romney take up smoking hippie lettuce and be quiet.
Well said! I've known people who were disabled as well (one with only 18% lung function) that "appeared ok" on the outside as it were. Bill is a supreme ignorant a$$hat and if it wasn't for hearing him here, I'd never listen to him at all. I have too much respect for my ears to subject them to that torture! If Press weren't clueless he could do a search on MS/horseback riding. He would find numerous studies on the benefits of this activity for MS patients. He would also find testaments from those patients about how their lives have improved by participation in this activity.
Then again, that would spoil his agenda and leave him one less target for his vitriol.

I can't even begin to say how offensive I find this. I spent several years working with a NARHA North American Riding for the Handicapped) Center, which uses horses as a therapy platform. Equine therapy is extremely effective and offers some benefits that cannot be duplicated in conventional therapy. The fact that Mrs. Romney can afford quality animals is not something that should be used against her. This man and his blatant ignorance about disabilities and treatments is offensive and his comments are despicable.

It's going to be all class warfare, all the time for the next few weeks. That's because they have no scandals to point to, no major gaffes to put up over and over, and nothing to baffle the folks with other than that 47% number from Romney's fundraiser. Which is, of course, ...more class warfare.

I rode horses for years, and I don't think these people can appreciate what it takes to control a 1200 pound animal. Also, I volunteered for several years with handicapped children using horses for their physical therapy. Ann has MS, so horses would have been great therapy for her on many levels. This guy is an ignoramus and hasn't a clue as to what he's talking about. Then again, what do you expect from a moron liberal?
