Lt. Col. Ralph Peters said tonight that what everyone is missing is that Putin has already taken Eastern Ukraine. As far as helping the Ukrainians, Peters says the reason Obama hasn’t sent lethal or non-lethal aid to Ukrainians is because he’s terrified of Putin but that he still believes that he can negotiate Putin out of Ukraine. When challenged on the latter, Peters dug in and said Obama think he can negotiate with a cancer tumor.
