Name an issue it comes back to Harry Reid. Do nothing whorehouse harry. No budget. Four dead Americans. There should be 535 voices demanding answers from the crooks in the White House. The Reid's of that 535 are bought to keep their mouth shut. Smells a lot like treason. Way past time for the families to have answers and justice.
The media is an enemy of the state. So is the prez and his minions. Lies, lies, lies and nothing but lies.
Besides Hillary, Congress must demand access to the 20+ survivors to the Benghazi debacle. Offer them amnesty or whatever is needed to obtain their cooperation in the investigation. If weapons were being supplied to terrorists by the Obama administration; someone in that group of State Department employees would have to know.
This "reaction" across the media, political and cultural spectrum has the all same earmarks of a Demokratic "Blitz" campaign.
Remember the uproar against Rush Limbaugh with his Sandra Fluke comments??? MediaMatters admitted they orchestrated that "campaign".
Someone had this "Blitz" "on the shelf" and ready for a broad spectrum push to get a "desired" outcome.......this required MSM coordination, logistics, preplanned "hysteria"...including bloggers from groups like CredoAction or ColorofChange or ProgressivePatriot, et al....the only thing missing was an "event" to trigger it.
CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS..et.al....all played their parts in this...there wasnt an ounce of "journalism" here.
It was all about a "message" they calculated to push "public opinion" towards, using their "credentials".
They peddled this propaganda as "outrage".
This is what the Old Media "Journalism" is today.....a ideological political tool to be used by a like minded political class to prod the "herd" to accept a political goal....truth be told thats all it has been for a long time now.
Way back in the 'stone age', when I was getting my Telecommunications/Journalism Degree, there was a book that was required reading called 'The Medium Is The Message' by Marshall McLuhan. Very interesting reading, especially 40 years down the road.
Key Concepts
For McLuhan, it was the medium itself that shaped and controlled “the scale and form of
human association and action”.
Extending the argument for understanding the medium as the message itself, he proposed that the “content of any medium is always another medium”
Likewise, the message of a newscast about a heinous crime may be less about the individual news story itself — the content — and more about the change in public attitude towards crime that the newscast engenders by the fact that such crimes are in effect being brought into the home to watch over dinner.
Hence in Understanding Media, McLuhan describes the "content" of a medium as a juicy piece of meat carried by the burglar to distract the watchdog of the mind.
Do they think in 4 years we are going to forget Benghazi? That was our second 9-11. It is not very likely that we will ever forget it, or the people in charge when it happened. We will remember!
Here is a HINT.....MOST were raised by the Dept of Education......then moved on to College aka Socialism/Communist Propaganda

I appreciate the fact Lt. Col. Peters took the time to say what he said. He could have kept his thoughts to himself, as the majority of others of his stature do. Do you think????

Oh yes, I completely agree. There IS a 'fundamental problem' with the media. It has been 'Fundamentally Transformed' (those words sound familiar?) by the left, over the last few decades.
Woodward & Bernstein were investigative reporters back in the Watergate days. They would have probably done the same 'hit job' on Johnson if he had chosen to run again.
Those kind of reporters don't exist these days, (in the main stream media), if the story might disgrace a liberal. Thank God for the Net.
If you control the message, you can control the masses... The Progressives control the MSM and they control the message the majority of Americans see... Thus the reason America reelected Obama...
Look up a book called 'The Medium Is The Message' by Marshall McLuhan and you will see just how you correct you are. Keep in mind this book was written in the 60's and apply it to what you see/read today. ;-)
The "media" are NOT biased. They are bought and paid for and are used to run Psychological Warfare Operations against the American people. Look up the military definition of psychological warfare. Controlling the "media" gives our enemies the most potent weapon, to control and manipulate the world view, the thoughts and feelings of Americans.
I think you're on to something there. Lot's of food for thought in what you say. It's like a conspiracy, isn't it. There's a direction to the media coming from somewhere. When the same thing happens at the same time, everywhere, it's called a conspiracy. Certainly not multi coincidences.
I am not sure it's a conspiracy because they all think alike. They only associate with fellow leftists. They never talk to anyone who has different ideas. They think they are so smart that their ideas must be correct.
Yeah, there's a problem with our media. Theyre leftist and they ignore anything that isn't pro-Obama. They don't report news.....they make it. They twist the facts and leave out pertinent information or events...intentionally. This is not reporting. It's making the news fit their agenda.
Yes, and if you write a letter to the editor, it won't be printed if it disagrees with the editorial content. Freedom of the press has evolved into freedom only for the press and those who agree with them.

Yes they would. The media is supposed to be the watch dogs for the people, but they have turned into liberal lapdogs. Not only would our founders be upset about the media, they would really hate to see what our politicians have done to their work of beauty (the Constitution and the U.S. of A.).

She doesn't want to testify because she will have to commit perjury before congress to continue covering for Obama. Obviously, Obama is the one who gave the "stand down" order and did not send in any assistance. He is the only one with the authority to give the order in this situation. I also believe I read at some point that Hillary had asked for more security and Obama said no. Above all else, Hillary is a Democrat. She will never speak out against Obama. She will not tell the truth. So, her choices are to avoid testifying forever, or commit perjury.
Yes, and that leaves an important question; why is her husband going along with it? He knows his wife is in a very frustrating and precarious position. It certainly is not where she expected to be after a lifetime of dedication to the leftist agenda.
It's too bad millions of Americans don't follow politics in between elections. Especially the women, I am sorry to say.
He doesn't control her actions. I also read that the Clintons were in serious disagreement about her actions in covering for Obama. She makes her own decisions about her life and career. She should listen to hubby on this one. She now has herself backed into a corner of her own making.

I was just sickened when I heard that those four people at the State Department were not even fired. To date, NOBODY has been held fully accountable for anything that happened in Libya. NOBODY. It's as if it never even happened, at least to the mainstream media. Well it DID happen and four Americans died. If we don't at least fire the people responsible for this, what type of message does this send to our men and women in uniform? "Hey, don't worry, if somebody in authority screws up and you lose your life, no big deal. We'll find them a new job, but we would never think to punish them." I would sack to whole miserable lot at the State Department in Washington. If I were an ambassador right now, I wouldn't be feeling too safe having the State Department planning my "security" overseas. Unless somebody at the State Department objects to this, nothing will happen.
Who could feel secure with that crew in the White House. Big talkers and Little Doers, and sooo afraid to offend Islamist terrorists. Obama is a sympathizer and anti Christian---no doubt about it. He came out of the woodwork---no one knew of him---and his only attrubute is that he is a good orator, who knows how to say things he knows the people want to hear. Once elected and re-elected, he just goes back to his own agenda.

Sometimes it is not only the press's fearful cowering but much more is the fact that objective reporting is dead... and has left many dead people along its path. The confirmation was made by CNN's Jordan Eason in 2003 in an article entitled "The News We Kept to Ourselves" . So many screwups that cost a lot of people their very lives....

I will try to act surprised that the media would cover up another one of Zero's many scandals. Okay, now I'll try to act shocked that this could ever happen. Then I'll try to reassure myself that there are still honest journalists out there somewhere...anywhere...nope, guess not.
The GOP refusing to approve Kerry until Hillary testifies is a good move - but I don't think they should approve Kerry at all!!!
That was my suggestion on Twitter too. Don't confirm, get them all under oath, and then say no to Kerry because of his treasonous behavior and beliefs.
