The stickler is supposed to be all over the collective bargaining part. Is it true..I heard that the CB bit doesn't have anything to do with the actual union wages? The state is only wanting the unions to cb over pensions.and that's annual cb. Anyone know any details? If I am right, this really ticks me off..those guys and gals need to grow up and get with the year 2011. The 'stickler' is the union. They want partial control of a State that does not vary with the voters or elections. Period. Rules for their members that apply only to them, and not affected by the legislature or economy.
Then, they want to give 93% of their political contributions to Democrats-only.
Do you know in Michigan that home day care providers have to pay union dues even if they are not in a union? I mention that because it wouldn't surprise me if similar exists in Wisconsin.
These union rules exist outside of any economic or sanity-based logic. These pension gifts are unsustainable.
Walker is simply putting the Wisconsin legislature fully back in charge of the budget and that limits the union voice to those democrats they have in their pocket, which are currently out of town at the moment.

Republicans need to seize this opportunity and start passing Wisconsin legislation left and right without the Democrats. Big stuff. Political stuff that liberals hate. Send a message that if you are MIA you are screwed big time.
