Mark Steyn: American taxpayers are subsidizing Obama’s brother to party with the genocidal butcher of Darfur

Mark Steyn explained to Rush Limbaugh’s audience today the story of President Obama’s brother, Malik Obama, and how he’s going to party with the worst of the terrorists, Sudanese President Omar Hassan al-Bashir, with a Lois Lerner fast-track-approved IRS retroactive tax-exempt status for his so-called Kenyan humanitarian aid group Barack H. Obama foundation.

You may have heard this before, but you haven’t heard it from Mark Steyn. In short, he puts it this way: “American taxpayers are subsidizing the president’s brother to go and party with the genocidal butcher of Darfur in one of the only four terrorist states on the planet!”

You see, this regime is now flooding the system with controversy and scandal and frankly, few people are able to keep track of it all. Adding further insult, some of the head (establishment) Republicans are conveniently looking the other way right now. And don’t forget that most of the media is still flying cover for the crap weasel in the WH.
So… we focus on the IRS in particular… while Benghazi strays further and further into obscurity. Sure, there are people still on it… but little is actually getting done with it. How long before it becomes another unresolved Fast-and -Furious? We have the illegal seizures of emails and phone records, etc. The EPA has been caught recently doing literally the exact same thing that the IRS has been doing… do we have time to cover that? Oh yeah, Obama is about to sign an agreement or something with the U.N. on international arms control… nothing to see here. Then there are land grabs going on out in the west… voter fraud, illegal food stamps being obtained by dead people and illegals, and so on and so on and on and on.
And if we try to go after all of these, the left screams “over-reach” and blacks scream racism. And Republicans recoil in horror.
This particular piece of the puzzle is perhaps the most incriminating and damning one, directly linked to Obama. Not many people are really paying attention to this or the other many scandals that are also being uncovered at the same time (by design?). Oh well, Obama and his peeps will likely be in Martha’s Vineyard living it up while all of this storms on. Nothing to see here, eh?
Future generations will dissect our impotence and ignorance over all of this and will likely still be scratching their heads about how a monster like Obama was allowed in America… and then coroneted as our president for two terms. So sickening.

Sure they can. All you have to do is to put something in front of of them they want (like food or ‘cat nip’) and they will go anywhere you want then to go. They are just like liberals chasing free cell phones or EBT cards. You can ‘herd’ them anywhere you want to go too, if there’s something in it for them.

        lawngreen The Sentinel   1776 2.0?

        • lawngreen

NYGino  The Sentinel Eventually it may come to that, and not so slowly, either. But not immediately, I think.
1776 was an outright declaration of independence and defiance. Necessary, inevitable maybe, and I’m glad they did it, but there were several – brief- intermediate steps between general dissatisfaction and “divorce”. The original Tea Party was such an event.
Although the obama regime is already tyrannical, already in violation of the U.S.S Constitution, already treasonous, they may possibly still be slowed or at least temporarily halted by a sufficient demonstration of anger. That doesn’t necessarily mean either revolution or violence. It means emphatic.
Each person or group will have to carefully evaluate the situation in their won locality. At the same time there is a need for a nationally coordinated movement, which must have a leader. That may be our biggest problem right now, that and those who cling to the republican party.

Once you escalate, it’s difficult-to-impossible to throttle down. Timing and momentum are important.

It’s more difficult because the whistleblowers have to come forward, their attorneys have to fight in court to get the security clearance needed. That’s why it is moving faster.   Believe me, the Twitter world will not let Benghazi slide.

This is the first paragraph of a Forbes article dated March 16, 2012. What particularly caught my attention was “…injected  fresh energy into the Save Darfur
movement.” Really? There is no news on George Clooney complaining about Darfur since that time. It looks like he might have been told to STFU. Why would he suddenly not want to raise awareness of it when he was just getting heard?

Let’s tie a few things together from today’s posts. On this current post by Scoop, we have barack’s brother hanging out with a genocidal muslim who probably has been happy to see Christians being killed throughout the Middle East.http://therightscoop.com/john-bolton-ralph-peters-on-middle-east-genocide-of-christians-and-jews-by-muslims-and-us-government-complicity/, we have Ralph Peters and John Bolton discussing the plight of Christians being wiped out in countries barack has lost: Egypt, Sudan (was never on our side, but barack let al Qaeda relocate there), Libya, soon Syria, and probably Turkey. And of course, the Turks, slow to realize their doom, in http://therightscoop.com/taksim-square-turkey-on-fire-with-protests-against-islamic-authoritarian-government/.
This is the legacy of barack.  He has handed the jihadists lands that, until he came to power, still had a huge Christian and Jewish presence in their populations.  And this genocide is going to get worse, because: not only has barack hollowed out our military and done his best to dispirit all who remain inside it, but http://blogs.telegraph.co.uk/news/concoughlin/100219594/britain-is-losing-the-military-capability-to-fight-alongside-the-americans/.  Soon Canada will reign supreme!  Or something.  Just not the US.

      K-Bob
Your levity in these discussions is always something i admire.  They support my basic argument that he was put here for a purpose, and he is fulfilling that purpose as we speak, and the average American has no clue.

      • K-Bob

white531 K-Bob It’s interesting to to think of it in that light.  I’m more of a “God created evil, so that men could seek salvation,” kind of guy, and less of a, “Hey, isn’t that the dude that John wrote about in Revelation?” kind of guy.  But even so, it’s a little ominous that barack plays all too well among both schools of thought.
Whichever of those is the ultimate truth of it, I’m convinced the current situation is the Great Test of our generation, and the solution will not be merely to endure it, but to restore Liberty.  If we fail in that goal, then the long darkness ahead will be something our Great Grandchildren will probably still be coping with when they are old.
(As for the levity, I’m one of those guys who’ll probably find his own death funny as heck.)

        • JohnCraven

But “God is Good All The Time”.
I think that is a true statement.
Why does he permit evil to exist, like this scumball of a regime in the White House, and its minions here and world wide?  That’s a question which centers around why God get us free will which God must have thought important or he would have made us all slaves.  Does He not want us to love Him freely?  Does this not risk the possibility that He won’t be loved freely and even blasphemed as Nero Obama does so often when, for instance, Nero Obama gives God’s blessing on Planned Parenthood, when, by no stretch of the imagination would God bless the murder of innocents.
Having said all this I think the Jihadist-in-chief is here on a mission to, as Rush used to say in the early part of his 1st term, destroy our nation and make it subservient to an evil the likes of which hasn’t been seen in a long time, the evil of the Jihad.

        • K-Bob

white531 K-Bob I agree.  By hosting a quickly-changing array of topics and coverage of current events, coupled with a simple, but effective Comment Policy, Scoop has created a very welcome spot for in-depth discussion without rancor (or at least, without too much rancor!). So people who prefer serious looks at an issue seem to spend a lot of time here.
          {We seem to be missing a few long-time regulars lately, like Nukeman, but a few have come back, like Sackett (who used to be a mod for Scoop) and VirusX.}

Ricochet was supposed to be a similar sort of site, and I suppose they still have an active membership, but the Comment Policy there is much more restrictive, and the majors there are all paid (poorly, as writers usually are, but paid), so you have to pay a fee to join.  I paid my fee to join, but when I saw what sorts of comments were deleted or severely edited, I decided it was too restrictive to waste my time with.  I never entered a single comment! (and you know me, sometimes I can’t stop my fingers from banging out some sort of response.)
And of course, if you’re going to shell out money, you don’t want to see too many articles you don’t agree with.  Ricochet has several folks who are regular contributors who are far more likely to support a Chris Christie type candidate than a Sarah Palin type, so that was also a factor for me.  I won’t pick at that particular scab any further.

Scoop’s site http://directorblue.blogspot.com/2013/02/the-top-150-conservative-websites.html, so we get some decent sessions down here in the comments, due to lots of folks stopping by.  Having thoughtful, and persistently well-mannered contributors like you just makes the place seem more comfortable to men and women of good will.  So thanks for being here!

This Lois Lerner Is one Leftist Loon with a major demonic obsession. Throughout her entire professional career she has been HELL-BENT on destroying and subverting Christians, Conservatives, Pro-Military, anyone who is not of a Leftist stripe. And not just at the IRS either. Not only that but she seems to get a malicious glee out of doing it…even to the point of flouting the law with cavalier and sanguine disregard for ethics and legalities. She she spoke before the HOC, she had such an arrogant, “I am above the law, and you can’t touch me” demeanor that she made me nauseous. She must be stopped. jrenai67, today I listened to Hannity say how he was against impeaching Nero Obama because he doesn’t want this nation to have to go through that again.
And I couldn’t help but thinking to myself, “who died and made Hannity God” – that’s not his call to make.  So what, impeachment is painful but if ever there was anyone who needed to be impeached before he causes any more damage to our nation and certainly for sending our nation into a death spiral, it is Nero Obama.
We have four dead Americans including an ambassador on Nero Obama’s watch.  The entire Islamic world is on the verge of instituting Sharia law under penalty of death on everyone whether they are Muslim or not in both Muslim and non-Muslim nations all because of Nero Obama’s insane policies towards Islamic jihadists.  We have massive unemployment and his policies are making our economy worse.  Our healthcare system, which was the best in the world before he was “immaculated” to borrow a word from Rush, is about to be totally destroyed and I know of no one who can afford the $20,000 per year per family to pay for Obamacare when fines of less than $100 in the beginning are an option.  Then we have such lamebrain operations as Fast and Furious #1 across our Southern border and Fast and Furious #2 out of Benghazi.  We have Nero Obama’s IRS targeting everyone who prays or objects to Nero Obama’s Marxist totalitarian policies.  We have Nero Obama’s EPA targetting farmers and energy companies for termination.
It is an endless parade of corruption and sleaze coming out of every pore of this entirely wicked regime.  If ever there was anyone who needs to be impeached and convicted of high crimes and treason it is Nero Obama whether Rush or Hannity likes it or not or thinks it will ever happen.  Rush and Hannity are, in my opinion, clearly shilling for some very Big Whig Republicans who profit mightily through their big government service and connections and I think they know full well that an impeachment of Nero Obama will expose their corruption too.  Why else did Romney lay down like a rug for Nero Obama to walk all over him after he ripped Nero Obama a new one in the first “debate”?  Clearly he and his handlers decided it was better for them to throw the fight than to stand for something and win.

Great insight on the testing and transformation of a peoples’ beliefs, character and values since post-WWII: and the reign of the ignorant “ME” generation Boomers: issue of, “The Greatest Generation”, (Not).
From my own observation of 80 yrs; I must note that the virtual courts-driven mandatory secularization of the Constitution since the early Sixties: the conscious disengagement of law and morality as a key civic virtue lies at the heart of this cultural collapse.
Lord Acton (Catholic English theologian of the 10th century: penned a thesaurus of insightful quotes:viz:
“Liberty is not the power of doing what we like, but the right of being able to do what we,”Ought”.

“Liberty and good government do not exclude each other; and there are excellent reasons why they should go together. Liberty is not a means to a higher political end. It is itself the highest political end.  It is not for the sake of a good public administration that it is required, but for the security in the pursuit of the highest objects of civil society, and of private life.”

Pwerfactor1, one of the things which Mark Steyn said today and yesterday with some urgency and, as always, good common sense, is that conservatives need to rally behind Senator Ted Cruz’ call to abolish the IRS and replace it with a fair or flat tax which the Treasury Department would simply be in charge of collecting without all the unconstitutional dictates and mandates which the IRS exudes at the drop of a dime.
This is the moment to seize the momentum to abolish something that needs to be abolished before it takes over our healthcare system and criminalizes anyone who objects even to the point of denying them healthcare if the IRS so orders.

I’ll be glad when I no longer have to look at the Obama brothers every time I visit TRS.

Yup. That picture could disappear yesterday and it wouldn’t hurt my feelings either.

    The ‘Brotha’ from another ‘Mutha’.
Since Muslims can apparently have as many wives (or baby momma’s), as they choose to acquire or or discard. You know, kind of like ‘Rappers’).

    http://www.livefyre.com/profile/15538350/ You
fail to example surrounding circumstances and impetus of past actions.(EX)
Reagan supported mujahedeen (who now are Islamic Nut-Jobs) to fight greatest
enemy threat USSR; Guatemala -Soviets were arming Sandinistas in
Nicaragua, Honduras & Ecuador   etc, etc, Communist
brutality was real, present, expanding and took precedent over
policing indiscretions and rights violations of the allies who were
assisting the US in our global struggle. Your myopic hindsight is analogous to
the childish, intellectually vapid tacit incessantly employed by leftists. (IE)
Oh, 300 years ago, they owned slaves, so this negates the brilliance of our America’s
founders – while at the same time, completely ignoring that the Black Africans
who originally enslaved those who wound up in America, also had slaves – just
as Ancient Egypt,   the Greeks and the Romans enslaved the white
citizens of every territory they annexed.
The important criteria of the issue you improperly addressed,
is whether the goals of the leader were consistent with the interests of the
United States and whether given the circumstances at the time of his actions, did
he pursue the proper tactics and most prudent strategy to accomplish his objective.  Today we face an entirely new anomaly; Obama’s
foreign policy is the antithesis of anything a competent person sees
as a practical path to achieving what’s best for America: disparaging our
allies, pandering to our enemies, ignoring history….the list is long
and consistent.  Gee, did you see what Mr. “It’s my priority to
keep Iran from acquiring Nuclear Weapons” did today?  He unilaterally permitted a few more countries
out of the Iran Sanction Agreement they signed and agreed to uphold – now these
nations are permitted import oil from Iran’s tyrannical terrorist Regime.
Apparently you’re oblivious to what goes into attaining
international sanction treaties and the conditions (basically Tax dollar
bribes, no interest loans and loan forgiveness etc.) America pays in order to
secure sanctions which are in the interest of National Security.

cnanyc WOW touche, way to know history in context!  The whole Israeli-Palestinian issue is what it is because of the loss of history & context.   Thanks so much for statements of principle, too, that we see so little of today.  If something is hard to do or makes anyone sad, it is WRONG, wrong, wrong–that’s the ONLY principle applied anymore.  SO scary when leaders don’t carry principle in their inner beings, but look for it outside from whomever would empower them.

cnanyc Amen brother …let’s remember the most clever but superficial rationale of the, mouthy. “Boomer cowardice,”……
Paint your own people as evil thus enobling the cowardice of the gutless ,”Boomer”  draft-dodgers.
That generation ( DOB 1946-1956) has virtually initiated the close-call collapsing of the American experiment…. just note the last three presidents.

The huge picture attached to this story is like kryptonite to me. The S on my shirt is fading just from looking at it. Need a new cape too 🙂

jimmyinoregon WHAT Bush and Reagan did cannot be reversed….but we can stop idiocies from happening TODAY.
    Capisce?

Now we know what the ‘perk’ was for Susan Rice to go on 5 talk shows and be Obama’s paid liar.
“Susan Rice, the U.S. ambassador who drew criticism for her initial
account of the Benghazi terror attack, has been named as national
security adviser, a senior White House official confirmed to Fox News.”

History is written by the ‘politically correct’. Especially the history to be found in American universities.
How old were you when Reagan was President? I’ve been old enough to vote since JFK was President, served a tour in Viet Nam and I’m on the staff of a military museum. I can show you some history you’ll never find in a university library.
Ever hear of the German atomic bomb project? Ever hear of the Japanese atomic bomb project? Do you know that if the Japanese atomic bomb project had been completed as planned they would exploded their atomic bomb in San Francisco Bay, 11 days after we bombed Hiroshima?
See if you can find that information in your university library, I’m not going to do your ‘homework for you.
    😉

Have you ever heard of the Japanese atomic bomb project? Do you know the story of the German sub U-234 we captured, that was on it’s way to Japan with a load of uranium oxide when Germany surrendered? I suspect, you probably don’t and you know why you probably don’t? Because all of was scrubbed from ‘our’ history by ‘our’ government as so to not alarm the American people as to how close the Japanese were to bombing us, that’s why.
The only point I’m trying to get across to you. is be very careful what you chose to quote from ‘official history’ because you may find out that ‘the context’ around those quotes, might come back to bite you. 😉 😉
Like I said in the first sentence of my original post, “History is written by the politically correct”.
