Matthews seems to be feeling the heat today and told MSNBC viewers that if they vote for a third or fourth party candidate like Gary Johnson or if they choose not to vote at all, they are idiots and he doesn’t want to talk to them:

POLITICO – Matthews was a guest at Wagner’s table today but largely controlled the conversation as he railed against people who either weren’t intending to vote or intended to vote for a third-party candidate.

“If you don’t vote, you’re an idiot,” Matthews yelled at the camera. “If you don’t vote, I don’t want to talk to you. And if you vote for one of these numbskull third or fourth party candidates like Gary Johnson or Jill Stein and say, ‘Oh, I was so surprised at what happened. …’ No! You shouldn’t be! Because idiots like you voted for third- and fourt-party candidates, and they don’t know how this system works. You have two choices.”

Matthews has many fans on the left, but he probably just lost the Green Party.

I can’t wait until Romney win tonight and really see this nutcase (Matthews) have a total meltdown

    • GreenBeretWay

His head will probably explode like these aliens.

I think the thrill up his leg will end up being a painful Charley Horse tonight.

    • VeryRefreshing

I’m getting a thrill up my leg just thinking about it.

      • toongoon

        LOL. Great!

    • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_MJGP4QXZ5PRW2MFA5E25CV2WNU rosalie

Matthews seems to have a total meltdown every day. Maybe his head will explode. If that happens, there won’t be a mess since there’s not much in it.

      • toongoon

Maybe MSLSD will finally die it’s natural death.

  • http://twitter.com/PuritanD71 PuritanD71

So instead of having the average 10 watching he drops to 8 viewers, that is if the other 2 even was listening….

  • http://twitter.com/MarthaChandler9 Martha Chandler

This lunatic yelling at people is not going to inspire anyone to vote.

    • Rightstuff1

A lunatic yelling at fellow lunatics. Well they are all safe in that wonderful asylum called the Democrat Party – Home for the obtuse, irrelevant, noisome, nasty left.

  • http://www.facebook.com/jeanpennie Jean Johnson Pennie

The Roseanne Barr for President campaign is not going to be happy with Tingles!

  • 911Infidel

Prissy Chrissy will be crying the blues in his 5 million dollar mansion in Bethesda-Chevy Chase. Maybe Kathleen will give him his Barcky Pooh Bear and a bottle and put him to bed early. But watch out for that tingle Kathleen, at his age it might be pee.

    • GreenBeretWay

I just looked Kathleen up on line.I didn’t know he was married.I thought he was Gay.Seriously.

      • 911Infidel

Yeah she used to work for the DC local ABC station as a very leftist anchorette. Now she works for some big hotel chain as an executive. The two of them are filthy rich. But I can understand the idea that Prissy is gay. He sure seems like it. He’s a Georgetown Preppie elitist type. A true scumbag.

          He’s prob on the DL.

  • SavingtheRepublicdotcom

Just got back from voting for Romney/ Ryan!!

    • GreenBeretWay

Didn’t it feel Great! I walked out of the voting booth this morning and felt like a million bucks.

      • meyou

I live in a city north of Detroit. Probably the only Republican in the polling station. Wound around my right hand (clearly visibile) was my rosary, and I prayed for the 30 minutes waiting in line. In 2008, I waited more than 2 hours to vote. I hope the time difference is a positive sign.

    • http://twitter.com/WinstonCN Winston Smith

      Good job

    For once we agree……

    “dies from shock”

  • JeffWRidge

Does that mean that Matthews voted for a third party candidate?

  • toongoon

Matthews has a lot of nerve to becalling anyone else an idiot.

On the other hand, it takes one to know one.

    • GreenBeretWay

I bet he hates Spinach too. He is a boneheaded monkey butt screeching like a Hyena in heat.

      • toongoon

Look at him!! Of course he hates spinach…..the wimp!

  • deeme

And if anyone knows an idiot…..this guy does everytime he looks in the mirror..

  • justright

Matthews must have voted third or fourth party then. All along, I thought he was just voting for a third rate street corner con.

  • http://www.facebook.com/paul.christian.942 librtifirst

If everybody voted third party, then we wouldn’t have to worry about the same Bush/Obama agenda continuing.

To say that it is a waste of a vote, is just not true. Lets say that Romney wins and then refuses to sign a repeal of Obama Care, and signs into law srict gun ownership restrictions. Are conservatives going to be glad that they voted for him? Well, he did these things in his state, so why would you be surprised? Some people see these two as two peas in a pod.

What will it take for the American people to abandon the one party made up of Demopublicans? You are losing your rights. Abortion has been legal for over forty years. Your money is going to be worthless soon. States rights are gone. Both parties support socialism “for generations to come”. Both parties sell us out to foreign entities. Both parties have destroyed our industrial base.

Until there is a real choice, I won’t diss on third party voters, because they may just be right

    • NoToTyrants

      Precisely!

A Romney win doesn’t mean we can afford to rest, not one second. We must become even more vigilant. Just like when Bush attempted to foist Amnesty upon us and the outcry was so deafening, he quickly had to abandon it. We must now hold Romney’s feet to the fire.

      • http://www.facebook.com/paul.christian.942 librtifirst

My concern is that he will just sneak things by, and everyone will make excuses for him doing bad things. Would Romney being a really bad president cause anyone to abandon the repubican party next time around?

I will abandon the republicans next time unless they get their butt in gear. I voted republican this time, but it might be the last.

        • NoToTyrants

          I agree.

Astonishing, considering the last 4 years, too many, even many on the right are still asleep. They are oblivious to what is going on. I blame the media, including Fox News.

I was very close to abandoning it this time.

I am sick of the Democrats and the GOPe playing three card monty with my Liberty.

          • warpmine

Astonishingly, considering the last 4 years, too many, even many on the right are still asleep. They are oblivious to what is going on. I blame the media, including Fox News.

Yes, but they’re slowly dying off (faster would be better).

          • http://www.facebook.com/paul.christian.942 librtifirst

I come to scoop for updates on what the lamestream is peddling, not for actual news. I like to follow how the two party dictatorship is running things, and be able to compare that to what alternative media is saying, or reporting.

The real world is much more interesting, and evil, than the lamestream is reporting.

  • ChicksLoveRight

For once I somewhat agree with Chris-tingle-up-my-dingle. If legal marijuana is more important to you than the economic future of our/my children, I don’t want to talk to you either!!

  • http://profile.yahoo.com/EZJ7XR5XRHJP6Y23GXRMJOFVKM Caddywhumpus Poncho

Matthews is clearly worried about disenchanted Democrats voting for Johnson or Stein instead of Obama. They know the enthusiasm for their messiah is just not there like in 2008 (or in Matthews’ case, the thrill up the leg).

    • GreenBeretWay

They will probably have to inject him with massive amounts of tranquilizers tonight just to keep him at a rational level until he goes off the air.

  • Nukeman60

I’m taking up a pool as to the actual time when Matthew’s head explodes tonight. Who wants in? When Va polls close (7:00 EST), he will get steamed. When Oh polls close (7:30), he will be slobbering all over his table. When the Fl and Pa polls close (8:00), we will have a countdown – 10, 9, 8,…

I pick 8:10 when the mush hits the fan.

    • GreenBeretWay

Oh heck ya I am in. Put me down for $100. 8:32

They will have to drag him off the air kicking and screaming before the FCC takes away MSNBC’S broadcasting license for obscenity.

This is gonna be an AWESOME night. Boo-Ya

    • toongoon

      I’ll take 9:13 pm for $150.00

    • WhiteGuy2

      9:35 for 200.00 Bob

    • FreeManWalking

      I’m in, 8:45

Wait for the leg thrill, it will be a soiled spot running down his pant leg tonight.

    • CG patriot

Nukeman now that’s funny he,he, “””chuckle”””

  • Rocco11

I would extend that to if you vote for Obama you’re the biggest idiot of all..

  • Sober_Thinking

Matthews lost (it) a long time ago…

  • RageAgainstO

I’m thinking he knows Johnson can take Obama votes away, since let’s face it, the majority of pot smokers are libs. (at least that I’ve ever come across but hey, I live in Chicago).

  • colliemum

Well, he is right, for once, innit!
People have or have had two choices: vote revenge or vote for love of the country.

  • davienne

i cant wait to see mathews implode…

  • http://twitter.com/WinstonCN Winston Smith

For once I agree with racist Matthews. Voting for fringe parties is moronic.

  • RonPaulSupporter2

The “system” (as he refers to it) is broken. Has been broken for many, many years.

  • Samwise Gamgee the 3rd

    lol

    I actually agree with him.

I’m not an across the board libertarian, but libertarianism has strongly informed a lot of my thinking.

And yet, when the opponent is a lying Marxist former domestic-terrorist associating man like Barack Obama, it seems to me that voting for anyone other than his opponent — if the opponent is even minimally acceptable to you — is a betrayal of those principles.

It might make one feel all good and purist, and it might count as some kind of extreme ascetic form of integrity, but it’s in direct opposition to the real-world furtherance of the ideals of liberty.

    • Samwise Gamgee the 3rd

I.e., it’s cutting off your nose to spite your face.

      Vote R this election cycle.

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1236140974 Kimberly Petrich

It is a really tough choice for me whether to watch real, grown-up election night coverage, or whether to laugh myself silly at the infantile blathering of the MSNBC asylum residents. Maybe I’ll use the pip.

  • http://www.facebook.com/people/Michael-Hills/100001768887781 Michael Hills

I think that was the most composed and together I’ve ever seen Chrissy Matthews. He must be on a double dose of his meds today.

    • FreeManWalking

Yea, Jack and Jack instead of Jack and coke.

  • Suzyqpie

Why do the people we elect to represent us have salary, retirement, bennies far beyond what, We The People, have? Our Pres 0bama is so fond of fairness. And this is fair?

  • chatterbox365

Wow…that actually makes sense. BTW, has anyone noticed that Bob Beckel on The Five has been unusually calm and reasonable???

  • http://profile.yahoo.com/PKPFHLKVWBX7STYLKFSY4QCVF4 Frank

A little over the top, Chris! Actually, voting for a third party candidate makes ENORMOUS sense if in a state where there is no doubt of the outcome – like here in CA. A third party that is close to what you really want provides an indication that the major parties can’t just take your vote for granted. I’ve frequently voted for a candidate that I knew could not win, because it sent a message. And my “better of two choices” candidate has always won anyway. We have interesting third parties, and write ins to use for leverage. Ron Paul !

  • JoJo58

Wow, the first thing that Matthews has said that is correct.

matthews, you did not vote for 3rd or 4th party –
……………………………………………………..and YOU ARE STILL AN IDIOT
and growing in your idiocy every time you open your snout.

  • AlabamaPatriot

The same could be said of those 27 people who watch your show.

The Sam 27 that think Bob Smeckel actually has a functioning cerebellum.
