Maybe Karl Rove was right about Hill’s brain damage: Multi-millionare Hillary says she’s not ‘truly well off’

I really thought that Hillary was done with all the embarrassing gaffes and mistakes this week, but she had to prove me wrong! In an interview with the Guardian newspaper published last night, the Hilldebeest* actually defended herself against criticism of her wealth by saying she’s not really “truly well off.”

“They don’t see me as part of the problem,” Clinton said of Americans who are upset about income inequality, adding, “Because we pay ordinary income tax, unlike a lot of people who are truly well off, not to name names; and we’ve done it through dint of hard work.”

As the Business Insider reports, she made an $8 million advance for putting her name on a book someone else most likely wrote, and possibly even more for her latest book, “Hard Choices.” Not well off? I think most people who earn the average household income of $50k a year would call that pretty well off. That means that Hillary earned more with one book than the average family makes in 160 years of constant work.
Not “truly well off”?!
Bubba Clinton is said to have earned $100 million in speaking fees since leaving office, while Chelsea Clinton earned $600,000 at NBC News for sparse appearances that riled many in journalism making far, far less.
And Republicans are supposed to be the part of the rich, right?
*This is not my term – according to a new book, this is a nickname that Michelle Obama and her associates have given to the Hillster, so take it up with them.
