Poor Megyn Kelly is not having a good time over at NBC. She’s getting absolutely obliterated for having that scumbag conspiracy theorist Alex Jones on her show, and it looks like her ratings are feeling the heat too.
In the A25-54 news demo Kelly’s show averaged a 0.8 rating (down -33 percent from last week’s 1.2), while 60 Minutes averaged a 1.1 rating. Kelly’s show improved the 7 p.m. ET timeslot for NBC by +13 percent in the demo, vs. the network’s season-to-date average for the hour (excluding sports and awards shows).
AND, she lost to a frickin’ RERUN from 60 Minutes!! Sheesh!!
In head-to-head competition, 60 Minutes, which was Sunday’s most-watched show, drew 7.9 million viewers while the second episode of Kelly’s show, which included an interview with Erin Anderson, averaged 3.6 million, down -42 percent from its debut episode a week earlier.
Down 42%!! You’d expect some interest to drop from the premiere, that’s only normal, but this seems pretty precipitous. And her Alex Jones episode hasn’t even aired yet – meanwhile it’s already losing sponsors.
Trump supporters are having a field day with this and salivating all over themselves, since they perceive her as a dedicated enemy of Trump because she asked him a tough question once. BUT she gets no help from the more rabid Trump-haters either, since she actually damaged her reputation with them when she gave Trump a softball interview!! Poor Meggy just can’t win….
