Mia Love was on with Fox and Friends this morning, responding to the idea of amnesty by the president and Sheila Jackson Lee’s assertion that Obama must do it because it’s selfish to do otherwise. But Love says it isn’t about Lee or anyone else, it’s about the American people and they want Obama to work with Congress. She says when the president unilaterally makes decisions for the American people, it looks more like a dictatorship.
I love Mia Love, but I would add that it isn’t just about the American people as she says. That’s important. But it’s also and more importantly about right and wrong per the Constitution. This isn’t just some political battle. This is about black and white, right and wrong when it comes to disobeying the law of the land.
