Just as I don’t like Obama announcing to ISIS that there will never ever in any circumstance be troops on the ground in our fight to destroy them, I also don’t like it when Mitch McConnell announces that there will never ever in any circumstance be a government shutdown during the next debt ceiling fight. It’s ridiculous to put it out there like that and let Obama know the limits Republicans won’t go to do what’s best for this country.
That said I do think the press conference was pretty good overall and I like how McConnell corrected the record that the House was not the obstruction, but the Senate and it needs to be fixed.
