MSNBCs Chris Hayes: Rich Right Wingers Hate Their Own Children

On MSNBC’s All In last night, host Chris Hayes did a brief segment on a controversy in Wisconsin surrounding a child support bill and state Rep. Joel Kleefisch.

“A bad day for rich, divorced, right-wing dads everywhere.”

See what he did there? First of all, being rich and right-wing are two of the worst things you can be in America. The only worse things you can be are white (check) and male (check). So basically, our bad guy deadbeat dad ranks somewhere between global warming and Hitler on the list of No Good Very Bad Things.

Hayes lays out the case that Kleefisch proposed a bill to change the laws governing child support payments as a favor to Republican donor Michael Eisenga. Hayes presumes, and assumes that you join his presumption, that there is no way to wish to reduce child support payment requirements that is not inherently evil. So the case he lays out is essentially focused on the cronyism, with the fact that the proposed bill condones evil being just delicious icing on the bad conservative cake.

After having summed up this festering cauldron of villainy, Hayes finishes up by saying that the defeat of these monsters represents a bad day for rich, divorced, right-wing dads everywhere. Because you see, it is impossible for a person who is rich, republican and divorced to care about their own children. I mean duh.

This is the perfect example of the propaganda rained down from MSNBC every day. One guy in Wisconsin seems like he probably might be selfishly trying to pay less money in child support (because remember, it’s IMPOSSIBLE for you to be paying too much), and then apparently used his connections to try and influence the law in a way that he deems more beneficial to him (because there’s no way he just thinks it is unfair and could be better) by getting a lawmaker to propose a bill (because as you know, Democrats and unions NEVER try to influence legislation or the White House) and we therefore can safely conclude that all right-wingers hate their own children and, frankly, probably set cats on fire for fun. Logic.

Oh, and before you say “who cares if MSNBC is putting out propaganda anyway, because nobody watches”, think again.
