Newt Gingrich says that he will tell President Trump to cut all ties with CNN and ignore what he calls the “attack” media.

I’m glad MacCallum brought up that CNN stuck up for Fox News when Obama was criticizing them – she’s at least more honest than Neil Cavuto, who completely ignored that history. But Newt persists in saying CNN should be cut off, which is incredible wishful thinking.
Trump has actually been much less acidic about the media, and his absolute addiction to the spotlight means he’ll likely never really cut off a large news outlet like CNN.
This is just another in the long line of foolish and stupid advice that tools like Newt, Bolling and Hannity give Trump to be completely and utterly ignored. Ironically, his Fox News followers are begging him to be WAY more extreme than the president has been thus far. And thank God for that!!
