Nikki Haley admitted this morning that she was targeting Donald Trump last night in her response to the State of the Union when she said “It can be tempting to follow the siren call of the angriest voices. We must resist that temptation”:
Say what you will about Donald Trump or any other Republican candidate for that matter, but the Republican response to the SOTU is not the place to target them. It should be about bigger ideas that stand in contrast to what Obama has done to the country, not attacking Republican candidates running for president.
