Yet another bizarre disagreement in the Trump campaign as the administration pulled the rug from under Nikki Haley as she called for more sanctions against Russia over the chemical attacks in Syria, their ally.
Today, Larry Kudlow said Haley was “confused”:
White House economic adviser Larry Kudlow told reporters Tuesday that Haley simply “got out ahead of the curve” on the sanctions, which she said on “Face the Nation” would be announced by Mnuchin “on Monday, if he hasn’t already.” She also made reference to a Monday sanctions rollout during a separate appearance on “Fox News Sunday.”
“There might have been some momentary confusion,” Kudlow added.
Well, Nikki Haley was NOT amused at the insinuation, and you can tell by her very curt response:

Wow. Another reporter on Fox News says she’s been trying to reach Kudlow all day and he’s not taking her calls. He added that he would NOT like to be Kudlow when she finally reaches him!!

I have to agree with the Tapman at the end of this segment – it does not seem like Haley to be confused about anything. But it DOES seem like common practice at the White House to agree on something and then walk it back or completely change it later…

Kudlow called Haley to apologize:

"There was a process mistake and I shouldn't have said what I said," Kudlow said. "She wasn't confused."
But that still leaves up in the air what is happening with the Russian sanctions…
