Trump has just responded on Twitter to the indictment of 13 Russians that was announced within the last couple of hours. Trump asserts, once again, that there was no collusion:
Russia started their anti-US campaign in 2014, long before I announced that I would run for President. The results of the election were not impacted. The Trump campaign did nothing wrong - no collusion!

Several on Twitter are suggesting that Trump claimed that he’s been vindicated:
Trump’s first response to indictments: Doesn’t raise concerns about the extent of the Russian efforts to interfere in 2016 elections or warn Russia to stay out of future campaigns. Claims he’s vindicated. https://t.co/LK6Z2yZ8f9

In fact, like the IC, the indictment makes no judgment: “There is no allegation in the indictment of any effect on the outcome of the election” https://t.co/YifCFOLuH3

I guess that’s one way to read it, however I didn’t read it that way initially. It just sounded to me that he’s once again saying he and his campaign did nothing wrong.
