In a really amazing interview with the GOP National Committee chair Reince Priebus, he defends Trump by basically saying over and over that the public doesn’t care how badly he treats women or what’s in his taxes.

It’s pretty remarkable. He even cites the bible about “forgiveness” but doesn’t specifically assign that to Trump explicitly – probably because Trump never asks for forgiveness of anyone, even God Himself. I guess there’s one thing comforting about this interview – Priebus is so damn terrible in his rhetoric defending Trump that we now know he wasn’t faking it when he poorly defended conservatism.
Some wag on Twitter called it for what it is – a “hostage video” for the Republican party that is under threat of being shot dead by Trump on Fifth Avenue, and also has a gun to its head and about to pull the trigger and blow out what little intellectual conservatism it once had.
