Non-union employer shot after suspect etched ‘scab’ on vehicle

***UPDATE: INTERVIEW ADDED***

A man who has been badgered by the unions trying unsuccessfully to unionize his employees was shot the other night as he interrupted a man vandalizing his vehicle:

CNSNews.com – The Monroe County Sheriff’s Department in Michigan are working to solve a shooting, after a man painting the word ‘scab’ on a non-union employer’s vehicle took a shot at it’s owner.

WTOL-TV reports that John King, the owner of King Electrical Services was shot in the arm last week when he surprised a man trying to slash the tires on the truck at his home. The word “scab” was also scrawled on the side.

King says he saw an outside security light go on, stepped out of his front door and was shot at.

King is the owner of the largest non-union electrical contracting company in the area.

Reportedly, King and his company have been the victim of numerous vandalisms.

An extreme example, but an example nonetheless of the entitlement mentality that typically accompanies unions. They badger, they intimidate, and now it looks like they use extreme violence to get their way. This, assuming that the suspect was a union organizer, which I believe is fairly safe considering what was being etched on the vehicle.
