This is just weird. No it’s not a huge lie, but it says a lot about Obama’s character – he goes out of his way to make fun of Kanye West saying Obama calls him, just to put him in his place and reassure everyone that Obama is superior to a rapper. I mean c’mon, that’s kinda pathetic.
Here’s how it went down – in an interview with Jimmy Kimmell this week Obama laughed off the claim from Kanye that he calls him at his house.

Later TMZ caught up with Kanye who said, yes actually Obama has:
“I love Obama,” West told reporters as he walked through LAX on his way back from Paris Fashion Week. “He called our house before, he knows that. Don’t try to pit us against each other.”
So why is Obama lying about that tiny detail? He has to be better than everyone else all the time, even if he has to lie to get there.
