Obama got pissy tonight in an interview with Jorge Ramos from Fusion TV when Ramos asked him why he deported 2 million people if he had the legal authority to stop deportations, calling him the ‘Deporter-in-Chief’. Obama immediately began interrupting and said that as president he always gets blamed for problems that aren’t solved ‘right away’.
Obama turns it around and blames Ramos for suggesting that there are ‘simple, quick answers’ to the deportation problem. Ramos said that wasn’t true but Obama and arguing that the political process isn’t simple or quick to overcome.
Obama then puts the onus on Ramos, asking if he is going to do a good job in getting the word out about the new changes so that as many people sign up as possible.
Ramos tried to ask more questions but Obama just kept talking. He was clearly pissed at the original question and pointed out at the end that Ramos was probably running out of time.
