Obama: I’ve never called anyone unpatriotic…oh wait a minute, yes I have

While Obama was trying to play the part of the “bigger man” when attacking Romney last night, he told Letterman that he’s never called anyone unpatriotic for disagreeing with him. But that’s not true:

      He’s now a patriotism clinger.

        By the fingernails,
        Hanging right above the abyss,
        Counting the days, Obamalivian awaits.
True American Patriotism feeds the abyss,
Liberals far and wide gawk utterly speechless,
        Freedom rings.

          Or a dingleBarry.

I like ‘bastion’ as it invokes an image of someone striking out from within a great fortress [patriotism] to make his last stand.

Perhaps that fortress swallows him in the process.

  • Kordane

Obama is a pathalogical liar. This has been proven again and again. Obama has to lie, because if he told the truth then nobody except the most braindead of drones would vote for him.

  • deeme

Yes he’s the President of all of U.S. if you don’t count,Patriotic tea partiers, well that’s not exactly what they call them… Coal workers, Border Patrol agents, Pro Lifers, Gun Owners, Bible Thumpers, Catholics, Christians, The Oil Industry, Greedy Insurance Agents ,anyone who did build it, anyone who has been sued or regulated for disagreeing with them, anyone who had to pay more then their “fair” share…Whole states that have been sued..for following the Constitution..and she puts it best..

Strassel writes of the Obama’s campaign’s latest efforts to smear and attack donors to Mitt Romney. She projects what happens when one exercises one’s right in a democracy to support a candidate:

Barack Obama, the most powerful man on the planet, singles you out by name. His campaign brands you a Romney donor, shames you for “betting against America,” and accuses you of having a “less-than-reputable” record. The message from the man who controls the Justice Department (which can indict you), the SEC (which can fine you), and the IRS (which can audit you), is clear: You made a mistake donating that money.

Check out the definition of bigot in any dictionary: “Obstinate belever who is intolerant of others”. This describes Obama and the liberal movement perfectly. Throw in the progression of becoming a liberal 1) First the hate, 2)Then the cause, 3) Then the target, 4) Then the methods and 5) Then the self-justification. It is so obvious what we are dealing with as been with us since the beginning of time. The problem is it has never had such undeniable ability to challenge the basic freedoms that have taken centuries to preserve. This is an attack on our way of life. To deny the obvious makes you a part of the problem,

  • I’m positive Dave is keenly aware that he said that as well.

Dang videos and microphones. If it weren’t for videos and microphones we would have the smartest pres and vice pres ever.

    • Landscaper

Mike I said something like that on another thread. Pesky cameras and audio….

  • dear leader can always try and be the bigger man when he has minions to do his dirty work. Seems like Mother Jones was doctoring the mittens tape after all. http://spectator.org/blog/2012/09/19/romney-tapes-doctored-mother-j

Yes and so many always fall for the first thing put out there without waiting to see if it’s legit or not and that includes some on our side.

    • I’m shocked, shocked!

I’ll bet the missing time was where Romney detailed his plans for work camps for the Occupy Wall Street clowns.

      Yeah, that’s the ticket.

  • The cover-picture for this article looks funny! LOL!

  • Problem is, nobody ever challenges him on it. Ever. It would have been so fantastic if Letterman played that clip of Obama calling people “unpatriotic.” But, then again, pigs would fly before that happened.

  • This from a JACK well you know that would not wear the AMERICAN FLAG on his LAPELL because he did not want to offend anyone…remember that…it took him what over a year to put one on against his original desire! Who does this cheap 3 dollar suit think he is kidding!

  • Nukeman60

Once again, the key is in the little words he uses. Obama can lie through his teeth, as long as he uses the words just right. This is a prime example. He states that “what none of us can do, in public office, is suggest that because somebody doesn’t agree with me, that they’re victims or they’re unpatriotic”.

Obama also took out a credit card from the Bank of China, but where Bush’s card was a gold card, Obama’s was a platinum card. This allows him to say the statement above, because technically they agreed on the same action. Obama strongly believes in borrowing $1 trillion per year to get his proposals done.

In his mind, he is correct. Reality says he’s blowing it out his behind, but don’t let the facts get in the way of a good story. Especially on Letterman.

  • Name-calling is a standard part of any liberals’ conversation. They cannot defend their record or be truthful about their motives,so as soon as someone questions any of their lies the verbal attacks begin. As long as their philosophy is based on emotion and not reason, this will never change.

  • mediaaccess1

Like Letterman is like Letterman does.

  • Army_Pilot1967

obama is a hollow man with selective memory!!! He’s probably called so many conservatives so many unflattering names that he can’t remember them all.

  • No inconsistency here. He did not call Bush unpatriotic, he called Bush’s increase in the debt unpatriotic. And even if you don’t split that hair, he did not call Bush unpatriotic for disagreeing with him but for a specific action.

    • So, Benedict Arnold wasn’t truly unpatriotic, just his actions were unpatriotic.

      Got it!

  • E. Lee Zimmerman

Well, I certainly don’t expect Showbama to start telling the truth now.

  • Liar.

  • louisiana_mom

No, he uses words like “enemy” instead!

  • he is a clown of the world, they all hate us much more because of obama, burning our flag burning his picture, the days go on and yet more are hateing america, thanks barry you assclown

  • His mouth looks like a good place for a bung hole stopper!

  • Patriotism is, Literally, belief in the Father. Historically, this means loyal to the power currently controlling one’s Country.
In America, it means loyalty to the Constitution. The Constitution exists to limit and control Government.
Disagreeing with government is the most patriotic thing an American can do.

We need to question why we have a private corporation in control of our money, why we go to war with third world countries who did not attack us, why the UN agenda for the 21st century (Agenda 21) has become the law in America, and why both parties support each of these things.

    THAT is Patriotism.

  • I’ll bet he’s never lied, either.

  • I’ll bet he’s never lied, either.

  • Traitor

“A Nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. For the traitor appears not as a traitor but speaks in accents familiar to his citizens and wears their face and their arguments. He appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of men. He rots the soul of a nation and works secretly to undermine the pillars of the city, infecting the body of politic so that it can no longer resist.” – Cicero 106-43 BC

    Need I say more??????

  • Actually he did. He called President Bush unpatriotic for the debt. Which of course he has since made worse during his watch. Also on his watch our financial rating went from AAA to AA-. 16 trillion and mounting 4 billion every day.

  • Obama lies again yet people still believe.

  • If Bush is unpatriotic for his debt?
What does that make obama? He has more than doubled it. I guess treason will fit him.
obama said he would fix the economy, and if didn`t he would be a one term president. If this is fixing the economy then he has a problem. He has made it far worse.
Unemployment has never dropped below 8%, but he blames that on Bush.
All he has given us is a new tax, obamacare. He will gut social security-medicare of 700 billion dollars to pay for it. The trouble for seniors is it will do nothing for them. They will have to pay increases in the medicare payment for reduced medical care.

It doesn’t matter what O says..We have seen what he has done to us. Lower salaries, less jobs. Yes, he has encouraged food stamp use..but wouldn’t we all prefer to pay for our own food and housing…WE NEED JOBS. Obama says a 3 letter word..I guess the ghost of Biden interferred…j-o-b-s-. Yep. Another four letter word.
I know what Obama is after and I don’t like it one bit. We want freedom from so much government Mr Obama…not promises of more freebies just before election day.

I don’t need to hear what Mr. O says…I see what he has done. Lower salaries…fewer jobs. Obama says what we need is a 3 letter word, j-o-b-s..I guesss the ghost of Biden was with him..

  • SineWaveII

He also lied about not knowing the level of the national debt; Either that or he’s stupid, those are the only two ways you can take his statement of “not knowing”. Either of these explanations disqualify him from being President of the US.

  • Pyrran

    “That’s Not True”

Much more accurate, believable, verifiable than Hope and Change

  • Moreover Of the 9 trillion debt G.W.Bush had accrued that was referred to here. he inherited 5.7 Trillion from Clinton. And had actually not accrued much debt until after the democrats took control of the house and senate in 2007. However we now have 16 trillion which means that in one term in office that Obama has far and away outstripped Bush in spending over 2 terms.

  • Jay

Amazing there’s room up there for Letterman’s nose next to Matthew’s.

  • agas84363

Re-elect this jerk? Should never have been president in the first place….Come on Dems admit it………….this guy ain’t it……..

  • bobemakk

He spun the response, and used the blame game again. Under Bush we had $9 trillion in debt, under Obama it has risen to over $16 trillion. So he can blame himself.
