Obama shocked some, but not those who are paying attention, by admitting today that he was surprised by the rise of ISIS after he pulled our troops out of Iraq.

In a new interview, President Obama said that he was surprised by the rise of ISIS.
“The ability of ISIL to not just mass inside of Syria, but then to initiate major land offensives that took Mosul, for example, that was not on my intelligence radar screen,” Obama told CNN’s Fareed Zakaria.
Should he have expected something like ISIS to arise out of the ashes of Iraq Here’s when Bush expressly warned about the possibility if we left early:
