Obama’s ‘moderates’ in Iran sentenced a woman to TWELVE YEARS in prison… over a cartoon

A 28-year-old woman has been sentenced to 12 years in prison over a cartoon about contraception in Iran, and I don’t hear a lot of liberals saying that she deserved it like they did with Pam Geller.

From PRI.org:

First, Iran’s leaders restricted access to contraception. Then artist Atena Farghadani wrote a cartoon depicting them as animals.

What came next for the 28-year-old artist? Arrest. Solitary confinement. A heart attack. And now a sentence of 12 years and nine months in prison for spreading anti-Tehran propaganda and insulting the country’s lawmakers and supreme leader.

The image that led to her arrest came while Iran sought to outlaw IUDs and vasectomies, as Iran’s leaders pushed to increase the nation’s population. Amnesty International today called the sentence “a terrible injustice, and a violation of her rights to free expression and association.”

She was initially jailed for five months in 2014 at the notorious Evin prison. She was released in December, but was detained again after publicly discussing her mistreatment by prison guards.

But hey none of that matters because what’s on the line for Obama is the only thing he cares about – his legacy. He’s willing to betray Israel, toss the Middle East into turmoil and accept any human rights abuses as long as he gets to smile big for the photo op in front of an Iranian nuke while shaking hands with Islamists.
