Paul Ryan explains why his budget will begin to fix our problems, why Obama’s attacks on his budget are false and why Obama is simply making our spending problem much worse:

For balancing the budget, and other economic issues this man needs to write the notes for the nominee of the GOP.

  • Paul Ryan needs to be our next VP!

    • sDee

Rick Santoum or Newt Gingrich. would never have a VP who abandoned all conservative principle and endorsed the father of obamacare, a big government Progressive further left than both Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter.

      • Rick Santorum and Newt Gingrich aren’t going to be our parties nominee. The sooner you realize that the better the chances of us winning in November. Plus, Rick Santorum abandoned his conservative princilples when he endorsed Mitt Romney in 2008. Mitt’s our nominee, accept it and come back down to reality.

        • sDee

I accept reality. The reality that the GOP is a big government party that has abandoned all defense of the Constitution and limited government. I accept the reality that we have a political class run buy two corrupt parties that are little more than competing crime families.

I accept the reality that people like you are either part of that deceit and corruption, or to ignorant to see it.

who endorse Ro, is not valued in my eyes.
“Tell me who your friend, I tell you who you are”.

  • sDee

I can no longer trust this man, who would endorse Mitt Romney over a conservative.

    • StrangernFiction

I certainly don’t put a lot of stock in the opinion of a man that believes Mitt Romney has the principles, integrity, and courage to turn America around.

      • I certainly don’t put a lot of stock in people who believe Rick Santorum is a “true Conservative”.

  • Nukeman60

Ryan talking to Obama would sound like the reasonable father trying to explain to his unruly, spoiled child why he can’t have everything that he sees.

Ryan: ‘We need to get spending under control and we need to grow the economy. That’s the fix’.

Obama: ‘But, but I want it. All you Christians, Republicans, Justices, and Conservatives are being so mean to me. MICHELLE!’

    • Sober_Thinking

      Lol! Brilliant! 🙂

  • JohnDoe_FormerlyLOGICandREASON

Since this Ryan dude endorsed a liberal Republican over a conservative one, I don’t seem to have any interest whatsoever in what he says or does. Marco Rubio and Paul Ryan are both smooth talking GOP establishment surrogates.

    • Karl Rogue

      pretty much

    • Guest1776rcp

On top of that passing this in the House is just politics and the GOP wouldn’t touch it with a ten foot pole if they held the senate and WH. I’m unimpressed with Ryan and Rubio myself. West is the REAL deal no doubt.

      • williamm

You are correct on everything you said. Ryan knows his budget will go nowhere. He’s just trying to blow smoke up our arse. The republicans voted for a bill that’s very vague. Saying there will be 2 tax rates of 10 and 25% but no specifics tells us nothing. It appears I have no choice but to vote for Romney just to dump Obama, but this is the last time I’ll vote for someone just because he’s not quite as bad as Obama. This is a great country and we deserve better than what the Good Old Boys of the GOP is forcing down our throats.

        Palin/West or West/Palin.

        • The man risked his career to introduce a budget he knew would be unpopular JUST to blow smoke up our collective arses?

I’d rant on that if I thought you truly believed that…

          • williamm

Rant away. The Ryan plan doesn’t explain if the majority of the 55 million people on SS will have their SS benefits taxed where they pay no taxes now if their total income is under 25,000 dollars for a single person or 32,000 for a married couple. That should have been addressed before it was approved by the republican party. The democrats will use that against the republicans running for congress in November. It’s already started. While you are ranting, please explain how passing a bill that has no chance will benefit our party. If you have any specifics on the tax reform, please bring them on, or is this another bill that needs to become law in order to know what’s in it.

I have even a bigger problem with Ryan for endorsing Obama-Lite. I’ll vote for him, but it’s really not a vote for him,but a vote against Obama.

The conservatives need someone to vote for instead of just voting to dump Obama.

  • I couldn’t listen to the interview. I’m sincerely disappointed with Rubio and Ryan for falling in line with the establishment.

    • PVG

Ryan is brilliant and may be the guy to save this nation……

      • magic_beans

        I agree.

  • Sober_Thinking

I can almost forgive Paul Ryan for backing that turd romney.

His budget should be passed… now.

  • Sober_Thinking

  • JazzFromHell

i still can’t beleave any body voted for president a hole

  • 12grace

Ryan’s endorsing Romney does not negate the fact that Ryan knows his stuff when it comes to finances and budget.

    • sDee

But it won’t matter. Romney would not shrink the oppressive Central Government. Under Romney, Ryan would simply help him expand the oppression with more fiscal discipline.

      • 12grace

I hope that I’m wrong but I don’t think we are going to have another election.

  • sara holy land

I want to believe, (I do not know about, understands all the distribution of seats, delegates), maybe a miracle will happen.
Do you still have this option?

  • GEDouglas

I don’t now how Romney and pundits will overcome Obama, his operatives, and the LSM if they are not willing to ignore political correctness. BO et al have no compunction whatsoever about telling out and out lies. It is not disingenuous, it is not spin, it is not misguided. They are telling deliberate, calculated lies! Someone needs to say it out loud and show it. Ignore the PC and say Obama…YOU LIE!

  • So to the emotional responders who abandon reason for emotional reaction while calling others libs: If this budget was some scheme to look Conservative and endorse Romney, why’d he introduce it before, also in an election year, when no one was yet running? The man has guts, the man is a Conservative, and while I do not agree with his choice of endorsement, I understand the reasons he felt he needed to do it.

Now it’s time to put on our big kid underpants and get on with getting this budget passed.

  • cherylmcr

Rand Paul’s budget is so much better. Balances budget in five years.

  • Do you ppl realize that 70 Democrats are registered in the Socialist Democratic Party of America? Between them & a Muslim POTUS this country is spiraling into oblivion. The Dems cannot salvage what’s left. There MUST be changes made in Washington. It is inescapable!

    • I am fond of the 1789 budget, but that’s just me…
