Pediatrics group says Trump policy is ‘CHILD ABUSE’ – but approved Muslim genital mutilation!

I saw a bunch of mainstream media people put out this headline about the American Academy of Pediatrics president calling Trump’s immigration policy “child abuse.”

Watch below:

The Hill explains:

Kraft stated that Trump’s policy amounts to “government-sanctioned child abuse” when asked by CNN host Kate Bolduan, saying that the U.S. government is taking away the one constant in these children’s lives.

And…

Kraft added that the emotional strain the children in these facilities are under produces a condition called “toxic stress” and that it inhibits the development of their brains.

“It disrupts their brain architecture and keeps them from developing language and social, emotional bonds, and gross motor skills, and the development that they could possibly have,” she said.

But then I thought wait a minute – isn’t this the same group that said we should approve of some child genital mutilation to appease Muslims? WHY YES IT WAS!!!

From 2010:

The policy statement, titled Ritual Genital Cutting of Female Minors, was issued on April 26, 2010 (ironically, this was also the same date that Congress passed new laws making it illegal to take a girl outside U.S. borders for the purpose of FGM). In their release, the AAP suggested that doctors be allowed to cut or prick girls’ clitorises. The 2010 statement has also revised the way the AAP refers to FGM; in 1998, they called it “female genital mutilation,” but now they are terming it “female genital cutting (FGC) or ritual genital cutting.” This, apparently, is the politically correct way of describing the forced removal of a woman’s sexual organs…

Now look, I’m not trying to “whataboutism” this, I’m just saying that this group has shown itself to be much too eager to acquiesce to left-wing political correctness, and it should not be trusted about child separation at the border either. Make of that what you will.

Also, to be fair to them, they took back their statement after weirdos like me expressed outrage at their support of child genital mutilation…
