PJ Media’s Roger Simon interviews Jack Cashill on Obama’s literary bio

Earlier today, the author of the Obama’s literary bio came out and said the bio was an error:

This was nothing more than a fact checking error by me–an agency assistant at the time,” Goderich wrote in an emailed statement to Yahoo News. “There was never any information given to us by Obama in any of his correspondence or other communications suggesting in any way that he was born in Kenya and not Hawaii. I hope you can communicate to your readers that this was a simple mistake and nothing more.

I know what you’re thinking. This was as predictable as water is wet.

Before this followup announcement, Roger Simon interviewed Jack Cashill on today’s news. They had some interesting things to say:

Here’s the thing. No matter if this is true, and they could be right that Obama himself approved his bio, it can only have an effect on the election and not on anything, shall we say more dramatic. Just as before, even if the Supreme Court all of a sudden ruled on factual basis that this is true and Obama shouldn’t be president, there is no enforcement body to set removal into action. The Senate will continue to protect as always and the DOJ…well, need I say more?

That said, this is a very interesting find.

Obama and the Democrats have pulled the biggest scam in U.S. history…

Thank you “RS” for posting this… the “New Media” is going to help us Patriots defeat the “Corrupt Obama Machine”…

    • badbadlibs

“Obama and the Democrats have pulled the biggest scam in U.S. history…”

You are so right. What a shame. And unless blinders are removed by an act of the Almighty, it won’t mean a thing, change a thing, do a thing.

      • TANGO40

“And unless blinders are removed by an act of the Almighty”…

We are “One Nation Under GOD”…

        Be positive…

        • badbadlibs

We are “One Nation Under GOD”…

You and I know that, but bo is on record saying we’re not….I know my statement sounds negative, but I’m just a realist.
The deck is stacked against conservatives and it takes a miracle to make any headway.

          • steprock

Greater is He that is with us…and I also think there are a lot more Conservatives in the US than there are Libs.

It’s just that the GOP has been moving to center and the Conservatives don’t come out to vote, giving the Libs a win by default. They vote for rock star Obama, our team stays home rather than vote McCain.

We risk that happening again with Mitt, but O has gotten a lot of people ticked. But we don’t march and occupy or get on the evening news. We speak through the ballot box.

            • badbadlibs

Great reminder, steprock! I agree that greater is He then all could or ever will be! I also agree that the staying home and not voting that kills our chanches every time. It makes me sick to think about it.

          • bobemakk

The politically uneducated are to blame for the Obama administration. They all felt sorry for the first African American man to be nominated and voted for him and now we are all paying for it. I would have voted for any African American nominee but him.

    • “Obama and the Democrats have pulled the biggest scam in U.S. history…”

Very true, but I’d say they had a lot of help from republicans as well.

      • TANGO40

I see your point, but, it’s really not all of the Republicans fault… it’s the fault of the GOP Establishment, because they are nothing but Progressives and there is really no difference between a so-called Progressive and a liberal…

    • kong1967

      Top three scams…..

      (1) Obama the imposter,
      (2) man made global warming, and
      (3) “the whole world’s monetary system will collapse in three days if you don’t give
      us a trillion dollars”.

    • bobemakk

The entire administration is a scam. The unfortunate thing is that the politically uneducated voters who want their social justice programs to continue with “Obama bucks” will cause this nation to go the way of Greece, bankrupt!

The auto bailouts were a scam as well. Every time someone buys a GM car it’s like paying themselves back part of the $38 billion GM still owes the taxpayers. Chrysler paid back most of the stimulus and Ford took nothing. Every time a “too big to fail” company needs money Obama says ok as he does with his social programs. If he is re-elected we will become a third world country. God help US!

  • PVG

The truth will come out. ALL of it. Bo will, at some point, have a big fat asterisk placed by his name in the history books. FOREVER.

    • kong1967

Lol, no he won’t. Don’t forget who writes the history books. Big fat liberals.

      • las1

No… conservatives write history… liberals write fiction.

        • kong1967

          Lol, that is genius.

    • CalCoolidge

I am skeptical that the truth will ever come out. Does anyone actually know the truth? Obama can’t remember his first five years, and has made up so many lies since then there is no telling how many of them he now believes.

I think this adds likelihood that Obama claimed some foreign status to qualify for entry or financial aid in college – just as his appointee Warren claimed to be an Injun.

  • The Crown Jewell of Chicago Politics, and his access to the public trough – has made a lot of people very rich.

On another note: It would appear, that the real problem John McCain had with vetting people, was not with Sarah Palin. She was dynamite. But, rather the unprofessional way he and his campaign didn’t vet Obama….

And, then he suspended his campaign to go back to Washington and look like a neutered old man.

It is becoming more and more apparent, the John McCain campaign was run by a bunch of utter losers. We never stood a chance.

    • And it looks like a repeat now.

      • Hey ABC,

I can appreciate your concerns. As a Tea Party Conservative, there would be nothing better for me, than for Mitt Romney to tell us what he really thinks. And, then allow the rest of us to make the case on our own terms.

But, my fear is that you may be correct. And, that he will not make the case like a Ronald Reagen did. But, rather he will continue to go through this campaign throwing bones to different people, hoping that he will not piss off enough people to keep them from voting for him.

It is the wrong to look at it this way. This country is in the middle of a historic argument. This country needs a referendum. And, more to the point, it desperately deserves it.

This country has earned it’s right to a referendum and Mitt Romney will need it if he wins.

Why he cannot see this, nor explain what he is doing is maddening. It keeps the worry in me going – that he is nothing but another version of a crook.

Once again, thanks for your thoughts.

        • Hi skip. I can understand your points and fears, as your last sentence speaks for so many. Right now, I’m just going to have to trust that the Lord knows what He’s doing, and that whatever comes, it will work for His purposes. Keep looking up and choose what your spirit tells you to. 🙂

        • GetWhatYouPayFor

He is a slime ball who works through surrogates and doesn’t ever soil his lily white hands. Makes my skin crawl. As slime balls go, I would enjoy having a beer with Bill Clinton……not Mitt.

    • poljunkie

Oh geez, dont remind of that meeting. The photo op was horrible.

    • kong1967

In addition, they wouldn’t allow Sarah to be interviewed by conservative reporters. Yet, they had no problem with sending her in with the dogs that he knew was going to try to rip her to shreds. She got on the radio with Hannity once and told him she wasn’t allowed to be there, but she snuck it in anyway.

McCain only chose her because he thought it would look good to have a female VP. He never had any respect for her and did not want her to outshine him. He can blame her for the loss all he wants, but she is the only reason he got any votes at all.

  • Sadly, we as US citizens do not seem to be interested in truth. If we were, would we not be calling our congressmen, burning the lines to DC demanding them to impeach this impostor. There would seem to be more evidence of dodging the Constitution with this administration than even Bill Clinton done with a girl under his desk….

  • It won’t go anywhere, but a whole lot of us who have believed it from the begining… at least we know. It ain’t much, especially considering republicans also had a hand in perpetuating this scam. It really pi$$es me off the way they marginalized those who dared to raise the issue when those who should have done the vetting in the first place refused and stood silent, watching this fraud as he was crowned.

    • badbadlibs

Most were scared spitless to be labeled a racist…so they kept their mouths shut and looked the other way. When all along they should have been screaming to the high heavens what a fraud this man is…and now the least deserving in our history has the title of POTUS. yuck and grrrrrrr and it will take an act of God to get him out….I just can’t stand thinking about it.

      • HarrietHT2

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about the cowering that goes on at the specter of being labeled a racist whenever a white person has legitimate criticisms of black people. Only to liberals have discrimination and racism risen to the level of cult status; since liberals are peachy keen about real sin, they have to make up “evils” that they can congratulate themselves on trying to root out, using the strong arm of law and the leftist media, and trampling our freedoms in the process.

Whatever amount of self-censorship that goes on, born of fear, is therefore tacit acceptance of the liberal world-view, playing by their rules, and essentially making of oneself a dhimmi. We need fearless, conservative leaders. Most Republicans need not apply (they’re liberals in elephant drag [R=elephant, if the allusion wasn’t clear]).

        • las1

          Well said Harriet… well said.

      • kong1967

Anyone that knew was probably intimidated already by the Chicago thugs…in addition to Soros thugs. Speculation for sure, but knowing Obama’s tactics I couldn’t imagine him NOT doing it.

    • kong1967

Here’s where we have to give Donald Trump some credit. All the criticism and jeers at the idiot birthers, and Trump didn’t care. He still yelled from the rooftops that Obama was a fraud.

As you said, we all know the truth…we idiot birthers. Additionally, this is surely going to make a lot of Democrat voters skeptical of the bogus defense for it.

    • las1

I’ll never forget my reactions as I watched imposter-in-chief during his “imperium” acceptance speech behind glass in Chicago before all his adoring worshipers. Thy all had tears in their eyes… Oprah being one… and Jesse Jackson another.

Meanwhile, I sat watching in utter horror asking myself what will be the end of it all, knowing that the biggest… absolutely biggest fraud in World history has just been completed. A spiritual darkness has descended and not one shot was fired in the process. Not even Hitler could accomplish this. THERE! I’ve said it. Time will prove that Hitler will be a poor comparison to what’s coming if Obama wins this election.

      • tinker_thinker

        Those were(are) my thoughts also.

      • badbadlibs

Wow…that was a good read and very sobering.

      • I looked at the pictures taken of Washington after everyone went home, saw all the trash and filth left behind and knew my fears were not unfounded. I had an idea before he was elected, but I knew without a doubt after that day.

        • las1

Wow… that was a great photo… looked like a ghetto landscape. I went to Washington with my son on 8/28/2010 for Beck’s Restoring Honor. There was not one speck of garbage… not one to be seen anywhere after the event. Everyone took home their own trash. I remember remarking to my son at the time and have video to prove it… so did half a million other people… that everything was so clean and everyone were so respectful.

There are two Americas… the filthy entitlement takers and the good God fearing decent conservatives. I’m confident that the former are the minority… a minority with the biggest mouths and the worst behavior… unfortunately.

Don’t know if you have been watching the news from Canada… but the Charest government in Quebec is tabling legislation to impose huge fines on extremist leaders and Union Activists who cause trouble, wear masks etc. I just hope he has the kajones to stick to it… fines from $1k to $125K… These pond scum have disrupted Montreal for over three months now. Now they try to stop the other 75% of students from attending classes. What started as a “student protest” (laugh, snicker, guffaw) quickly became a front for every rickety cartload of assorted left-wing baggery you could imagine… and the unions were right there with them… ugh.

          • Linky1

Wouldn’t you know, all of this trouble in Quebec, home of Clan Entitlement.

          • I was thinking too of the contrast between Beck’s Restoring Honor event, the Tea Party and dear leader’s trash. These pictures speak a thousand words also: http://whoisjohngalt.hubpages.com/hub/Compare-Garbage-After-Tea-Party-vs-Obama-Inauguration

As for the left wing baggery (love that description by the way!) Say it ain’t so! Quebec has left wing baggery?!

            • las1

Yup… sorry but it’s true…. so true. I love when Steven Crowder reports on it. He was raised there and attended CEGEP… no less.

        • Linky1

And the trash still remains in Washington, waiting to be put in its proper place.

      • Constance

You certainly weren’t alone on that day. I felt physically sick watching Obama and looking at the mindless followers and their dead eyes and faces. I too thought of Hitler and the masses of crowds that blindly followed him. I wondered at how stupid people really are.

        • We wonder at how stupid people really are…. yes, it boggles the mind (and I’m not the brightest wick in the candle) but really there are people who actually think dear leader’s doing a good job. It makes one want to run out into the yard screaming and ripping one’s hair out.

    • tinker_thinker

I agree!! And these were the same people who stood by and let Palin be trashed. Almost like republicans have been infiltrated.

  • Durus

Real patriots who may resist the intrigues of the favorite are liable to become suspected and odious, while its tools and dupes usurp the applause and confidence of the people, to surrender their interests. — George Washington, Farewell Address, 1796 – David Claypoole American Daily Advertiser, September 19, 1796.

    • las1

What an absolutely prescient quote. You, sir, have prompted me to go back and reread Washington’s Farewell Address. Thank you.

In the next few days we’ll see the MSM ask Obama or his lackey’s about this, but the questions will be posed and nuanced in way that will serve two purposes as they are asked: the obvious (but untruthful) answer for OhBummer will be in the question, and it’ll take a sneering swipe at the Patriots/birthers…….just watch, the MSM are masters at controlling and manipulating their Communistic narrative.

    • kong1967

I know, and it’s like when someone is talking to you they roll their eyes then act all innocent when you call them out on it. “What? I didn’t say anything”. Yeah, your eyes spoke a thousand words.

      “nods head in agreement”

  • poljunkie

Predictable, disappointing all rolled into one.

Growing up my dad used to say life isnt fair. When I would complain about having to do trivial chores or homework.

Funny how those few words really have meaning, now- many many years later.

PS Imagine Obama pacing around the Oval Office earlier, saying get out there and fix this. Slaming the phone down.

  • 3seven77

I am hoping that this is just the beginning of the crack in the dam. Things are starting to leak out and when they reach a certain point it becomes an overwhelming flood. I just pray that those who know the truth have the courage to bring it forward. Lay the cards on the table. Americans deserve the truth.

    • kong1967

Anyone that does know is probably already being intimidated. People will be too afraid to come out with the truth. If not because of retaliation from Obama, but from wacko liberals on the streets.

      • badbadlibs

I still believe Breitbart’s death serves as a reminder….and this coming from someone who literally despies conspiracy theories.

        • kong1967

Agreed. There were 67 or so tied to Clinton’s scandals, including a beheading and a shot to the back of the head that were labeled suicides.

There was a witness to Breitbart’s death that saw a white ring around his forhead before he passed. Last I heard they were trying to get experts’ opinions on what could cause that. Of course, I heard it through the birdies and it could all be BS.

Hmmm, this seems like what I was saying all along. Even if the Supreme Court rules he’s an illegal President, his actions and laws will not be automatically void. Now I feel vindicated.

  • An editor/fact checker verifies information written and presented to him or her. So who wrote the bio that she was editing/fact checking?

    • tinker_thinker

      • Linky1

or Bill Ayers (He wrote Dreams from my Father) or George Soros.

  • Rocco11

I’ve said all along that Obama is George Soros’s Manchurian teleprompter reader.

  • tinker_thinker

A fact check error? No…those WERE the facts back then. I saw news articles about obama being the first senator elected born in Kenya and they also stated he was a member of the communist party.

  • NYGino

“There was never any information given to us by Obama in any of his correspondence or other communications suggesting in any way that he was born in Kenya and not Hawaii”

“This was nothing more than a fact checking error by me-an agency assistant at the time”

Apx. 195 countries in the world and he just so happens to make an error and it just so happens he refers to Kenya. What a coincidence.

      They just want to live.

  • Sober_Thinking

Agreed. However, when this corrupt regime is finally exised, I hope they lock Holder up in a deep, dark cell for the rest of his life. He is “Policeman #1” and he has accepted all sorts of perks for looking the other way and lying. He’s a human crud. Dirty liar. Reprobate.

Whether BO is an American or a Kenyan is indeed moot at this point… the damage has already been done. America has cancer thanks to this liar… and we have to learn to survive with it.

    • badbadlibs

Those are just the facts….great reply. I particularly liked holder’s description….

  • Nukeman60

Obama successfully hid his entire past from us for the ’08 election. He had lots of help, but suffice it to say, he arrived as a clean, blank slate to be awarded the most powerful position in the world on the auspices of ‘Hope and Change’. Not much there and not much we can do about that now.

However, in 2012, if we re-elect this man, now knowing what we know about his past, his policies and his overall agenda, then the burden of guilt must lie with us (‘we, the people’). It would be insane to think that we could be so stupid twice in a row (even though we have once again backed MittCain).

Lessons have to be learned here. That is why these things are important to us. We should never elect someone to the highest position in the land without completely and thoroughly vetting them. Anyone who doesn’t let us do that should be raked over the coals as a lesson to others who would desecrate our Constitution and weaken our great nation in such a fashion.

    Never again, people. Never again.

If this were the ONLY “evidence” that raised questions, I would dismiss it as well, but it isn’t. There are several pieces of evidence that suggest something is awry. Goderich is lying through her teeth and everyone knows it.

He was born in Kenya when it was convenient for him, just like being a “Christian”. Examine the actions and always discount the words. When was the last time he went to church? Harvard knows what his Bio was when he applied. Many continue to participate in this fraud, fostering the New World Order. The Bilderbergs have control of all sides of the aisle, here and abroad. When the Clinton’s go down without a whimper, you know it is true.

“Obama and the Democrats have pulled the biggest scam in U.S. history..”

I disagree, I think the enablers are to blame…
The ones that allowed a very basic and fair question to be painted as “the birthers”.
Our side doesnt have to hide from what every person knows in his heart is a perfectly legitimate discussion.

  • So were they lying then or are they lying now?
We know Obama and his ilk lie all the time about everything they mean, so when we hear the liars speak we should alway’s remember to believe the opposite of what they say, just as we should with the mainstream media, liars one and all.

    Tea Party Patriot
Mr. Asa, Seems we Americans need another Investigation into these group of lying thieves.
what sorry @ss snakes!, we have running loose in America.

  • Well, there is one easy way to clear this up. Let’s take a look at Obama’s college applications and records. If in them he says that he’s from Kenya or that he was born in Kenya, then that’s something really solid to go on. True, it would only make him a liar and not a Kenyan (because he was born in Hawaii), but it would clearly show how much he cultivated this lie to get what he wanted, which was probably a scholarship or a grant to a fancy school.

  • trustintheLORDwithallyourheart

See this voting scorecard of the 2010 freshman representatives put together by the Club for Growth: http://www.clubforgrowth.org/freshmanvotestudy/.

Anyone with a score lower than 65 (when I was in school, anything below 65 was a failing grade), needs to be primaried. It seems a good number of these reps may have lied about their platform in order to hitch a ride on that Washington D.C. gravy train.

The state of the economy is a big problem, but I see the bigger problem being too many people lacking in honor and good character, and downright corrupt. We won’t be able to fix any of our problems unless we turn back to Godly ways.

    Psalm 14:1-3
1 The fool says in his heart,“There is no God.” They are corrupt, their deeds are vile; there is no one who does good.2 The LORD looks down from heaven on all mankind to see if there are any who understand, any who seek God.3 All have turned away, all have become corrupt; there is no one who does good, not even one.

We’re not this bad yet, but we’re getting there.

  • Constance

For me, it’s a simple issue. Obama would have read this, kept at least one copy of it, and would have made sure everybody he knew read it. He’s arrogant and self serving. So, why didn’t he correct it right away? That’s all I need to ask myself. He didn’t correct it because it served his purposes at the time, whether factually true or not. His life is a web of deception. Personally, I believe the man was born in Kenya. At this point, though, I just want him the hell out of the White House and out of our lives.

The Arizona Sheriff stated publicly that the birth certificate is a fraud and NOW our wonderful fair?? justice department is suing the Sheriff….. FOR WHAT???

    • NJK

A fraud President has a fraud DOJ. They aren’t acting legally, if they’re acting under a fraud president. I’ve made the decision I won’t vote for either candidate if Obama isn’t forced to prove where he was born. Romney now looks complicit for refusing to discuss Zero’s past. He’s not being noble or virtuous, but shady.

Mistake my A**! It’s not like a misspelling, getting someone’s birth date or city of birth wrong. We are talking about a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT COUNTRY!! There was no reason to embellish Obama’s history as he already had a very colorful past. It’s BS.
