Police receive letter threatening to behead elementary school students in Rhode Island

Police in Rhode Island are taking an anonymous letter threatening to behead elementary school students across three different communities very seriously. The letter was handwritten and snail mailed to Johnston police, warning them that a “beheading is planned” and elementary school students in Warwick, Cranston and Johnston communities would be targeted.

Police are now standing guard at each school as the schools take extra precautions.
