Pres. of NYC Patrolmen’s Benevolent Assoc. defends cops in takedown of #EricGarner on CNN

Patrick Lynch, President of New York City’s Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association, went on CNN last night to discuss the Eric Garner case and how the police handled it. Perhaps you are tired of hearing this debated but I found it quite interesting as Lynch defended the officers of the NYPD against racism charges from the Mayor as well as defended the takedown by officers and put the blame squarely on Garner for resisting in the first place.

Lynch also helped represent the officer who did the takedown who was also the subject of the grand jury decision:
