The furor around the supposedly racist and offensive Washington Redskins’ name reared its ugly head at the home game against the Dallas Cowboys at FedEx Field when protesters held a demonstration against the name.

Before the Redskins kicked off against the Cowboys on Sunday, a group of about 125, according to the Washington Post, paraded outside FedEx Field, donning banners and echoing chants calling for a change of the mascot that many find offensive.
The Washington Post’s Mike Wise chronicled the marching, at one point noting there were “many uncomfortable fans,” which is likely what the picketers had in mind.
For what it’s worth, the Redskins lost to the Cowboys 17-44.
