Putin boasts of invulnerable nukes that can reach anywhere in the world…

Putin claims Russia has built new invulnerable nuclear weapons that can reach anywhere in the world without being taken out by missile defense systems:

Here’s more:

NY POST – Vladimir Putin warned the West on Thursday that Russia has developed a new high-tech arsenal — including a supersonic nuclear weapon that can reach any spot on Earth while avoiding missile defense systems.

Delivering his annual State of the Union address, the Russian president said his country was prepared to use its nukes if attacked, and added that Moscow would consider a nuclear attack on its allies as a nuclear attack on the Motherland — and would retaliate immediately.

“I want to tell all those who have fueled the arms race over the last 15 years, sought to win unilateral advantages over Russia, introduced unlawful sanctions aimed to contain our country’s development: All what you wanted to impede with your policies have already happened,” he said. “You have failed to contain Russia.”

Putin presented a video of how one of the prototype missiles would work, explaining that the new system would have an unlimited range.

“It can attack any target, through the North or South Pole, it is a powerful weapon and no missile defense system will be able to withstand,” the strongman boasted.

Putin also revealed that Russia has a “small nuclear power energy system” — a nuclear warhead — that can be deployed on a cruise missile system and “avoid all interceptors.”

He said the country had successfully tested the system last year and would start manufacturing it now.

“This is unheard of and nobody else has such a system in the world,” he said. “They might create something like this in the future, but by then our guys will have created something new as well.”

He said the new weapons make NATO’s American-led missile defense “useless” — and means an effective end to what he described as Western efforts to block Russia’s development.

This so-called new technology was reported on back in October of last year. Now Putin is announcing it for all the world to see.

I sincerely hope Putin is exaggerating because, as I said before, I would hate to think that we’ve been outpaced by the Russians on something like this.
