Earlier this week it was said that Rand Paul walked out of a Senate Obamacare meeting. Rand paul explains why he did that and also talks about the executive order that Trump signed yesterday on getting rid of a major Obama coal regulation:
Rand Paul explained that he walked out of the Obamacare meeting because the leadership was pushing a partial Obamacare repeal and not a full repeal. Obviously he’s for a full repeal and explained why he thought it was problematic.
I hope this isn’t indicative of what we are to expect from Congress, only a partial repeal. That’s not what we voted for nor is it what we want. I understand it may take time to transition people away from Obamacare programs, but I don’t know why a full repeal and replacement can’t accommodate that.
