By The Right Scoop

Jack Hunter was far more relevant a topic when he was on Rand Paul’s staff. But apparently Paul did the right thing and cut him loose, knowing that Hunter would be a huge drag on his campaign after the things he’s said or written. The fact that he wrote a book with Paul doesn’t help, but he’s clearly drawing a line in the sand and pushing back hard on those who solely want to focus on Jack Hunter.

Said it before. Don’t feed the beasts… don’t go on their raggedy, stinking, worthless shows. They have little to no value and you just know they’re going to distort, twist, fold, spindle and mutilate whatever conservatives say while being “interviewed”. Trying to get a few of the morons who listen to those shows isn’t worth it.

  • 57thunderbird

I am no fan of Rand Paul, but why do they subject themselves to these radio host that will simply go out of their way to distort everything they say.

    • Amjean

I AM a big fan of Rand Paul and I think he should go on every liberal outlet he can and respond in the same way to their attacks and biased reporting.  Go Rand!!!

      • 57thunderbird

Amjean Rand loves him some illegals.

      • 57thunderbird

Amjean Rand loves him some illegals.

You know I really don’t mind when someone prefers another candidate, however, it makes my blood boil when someone knocks a good conservative who fights both the lefties and the repub rinos in an attempt to defend the constitution and help out the country.  Especially when someone posts something so egregious as “Rand loves him some illegals”.   You cannot know his position on immigration if you make that statement.

        • Laurel A

          Amjean HE VOTED FOR AMNESTY.

        • 57thunderbird

Laurel A Amjean Yup!That is all I need to know.

        • 57thunderbird

Amjean Where is amnesty for illegals in the Constitution?

From now on, I think all Republicans and Conservatives, when dealing with ‘gotcha’ type questions from the left-wing presss should simply say, “I choose to invoke the Obama rules of questioning”, or “I demand to be held to the same standard as Barak Obama” (i.e. you are not allowed to ask any of the types of questions you refused to ask of Obama for the past 4+ years).
The press no longer has the moral authority to demand answers to tough questions from politicians they don’t like, when they refused to do the same to Obama.

    • bfunk

mike3e4r7 That’s the whole problem. They’ve picked sides.

  • mike3e4r7

Conservative politicians should memorize this or something similar. It should be their stock answer to such questions.
“You have forever lost the right to ask questions of that nature. You have created a standard with President Obama which implies, among other things, that politicians should not be held accountable for their past associates. I refuse to be held to a double standard by you.”

    • nibblesyble

      mike3e4r7 Amen Mike!!

      • bfunk

nibblesyble mike3e4r7 Well said Mike! And dittos Nibblesyble!

  • Amjean

Now, THAT is how someone should handle the lamestream media!!!!  Awesome!

  • CalCoolidge

Bring up Rev Wright or Bill Ayers, and they negatively intone that you are engaging in guilt by association.

  • crosshr

I almost thought I overhead Newt’s sharp commanding voice as Paul chopped down the ill intentional meaningless  query from this brain dead radio host. Love the way Rand Paul responded. I hope this is a hint for all Conservatives wonder into liberal shows.
I appreciates exploring these liberal territories, just keep in mind they are annoying, untruthful, ill intentional with load of gotcha tags.Exposing to the public their motives and behavior is one good step forward. Although not all our bright conservative stars can do that. I feel good and hopeful

    BOOM!!!

  • yazz55

I have a lot of respect for Rand Paul and the positive demeanor he maintained in the interview.
Don’t think that I could have remained that calm and collected.   I most likely would have told the libfag extremist wacko masquerading as a reporter to go shove something up a certain part of his anatomy, using language not printable here.

Why was Rand Paul on NPR to begin with? Like he’s going to get a “fair” interview out of them? And is NPR’s audience really going to be swayed by Paul? Give me a break. They are committed leftists, so I doubt they’re going to have much of an open mind. Paul, like all Republicans, is just spitting in the wind by going on venues like this.

  • K-Bob

Rand Paul should have sent Jack Hunter to attend Reverend Wright’s church.
You can eat live babies for breakfast on PBS-TV if you attended Reverend Wright’s church.

  • bobomack

Get over it!! Everybody who is alive at one time or another in their lives have known or associated with someone they now regret knowing for one reason or another. The reason these morons harp on something is they have nothing else to bring to the table. The person you regret knowing does not shape who you are or what you stand for!! Move on!! Next subject and question please!!
