Rep. Chaffetz to Crowley: It wasn’t your place to fact check, also you were wrong

This clip is amazing for a couple of reasons. First, Crowley is saying now she didn’t backtrack last night. Yet in this very clip where she says she didn’t backtrack, she says this:

Now, did the president say this was an act of terror? The president did not say “these acts of terror.” But he was in the Rose Garden to talk about Benghazi so I don’t think that’s a leap, sorry.

Seriously? She admits that he didn’t say specifically that Benghazi was an act of terror but because the purpose of the gathering in the Rose Garden was about Benghazi, then what he said must’ve been about Benghazi. But he also brought up 9/11 too in that speech in the paragraph right before that statement. And to be specific he sad “No acts of terror will ever shake the resolve of this great nation, alter that character, or eclipse the light of the values that we stand for.” If he’s labeling Benghazi an act of terror, that’s a pretty dang passive way to do it. And let’s not forget the following two weeks in which Obama denied it was a pre-planned terrorist attack, which was Romney’s point to begin with.

Secondly, Chaffetz confronted Crowley to her face and told her (as a gentlemen) that she not only got it wrong last night but that it wasn’t her place to fact check during the debate.
