In today’s “let’s make a really stupid irrational argument” file, we have a very frequent guest to the file, Rep. Peter King!!!
King blasted the Jets owner for saying he will pay any players’ fines from protesting. That’s a reasonable criticism.
Then he compared them to Nazis.
Disgraceful that @nyjets owner will pay fines for players who kneel for National Anthem. Encouraging a movement premised on lies vs. police. Would he support all player protests? Would he pay fines of players giving Nazi salutes or spew racism? It’s time to say goodbye to Jets!

That’s a… less reasonable criticism.
I think these protests are dumb and counterproductive, but they’re not quite on par with the group that was orchestrating genocide in order to seek worldwide conquest. That’s a bit much, buddy.
