(UPDATED BELOW)
So apparently the members of the Freedom Caucus are moving towards endorsing Paul Ryan for Speaker:
THE HILL – A top leader of the conservative Freedom Caucus told The Hill he sees “a path” for the conservative group to endorse Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) for Speaker.
The bloc of roughly 40 conservative hardliners was debating in a closed door meeting Wednesday night whether to switch the group’s endorsement to Ryan from Rep. Daniel Webster (R-Fla.).
A vote in the meeting is expected.
A second Freedom Caucus leader said his concerns about Ryan were put to rest after hearing directly from the Ways and Means chairman earlier Wednesday.
Fox news reporter Chad Pergram has been monitoring this situation closely and tweeted this out about a half hour ago:
Rep Stutzman endorsed Ryan for Spkr. Now in closed door Freedom Caucus mtg trying 2 persuade them to back him. Hopes caucus will vote tonite

Well I guess that’s positive…
Here is more:
Ryan's future hinges on tonight's mtg of Freedom Caucus. Told most back Ryan. Some holdouts. But Freedom Caucus needs 80% to vote as bloc

UPDATE: The Freedom Caucus has voted to support Paul Ryan for Speaker, but won’t officially endorse him because they didn’t get the 80% vote needed for endorsement:
