Report: Trump involved in 3,500 LAWSUITS!!

If you listen to 20 minutes of Trump speaking, you’ll probably hear him threaten to sue someone, talk about being sued, or mention a previous lawsuit. Apparently el Trumpo has been the litigator-in-chief for a while now.

From the Hill:

Donald Trump could become the most litigious commander in chief ever elected, according to a new analysis that found an unprecedented number of lawsuits involving a presidential candidate.

Trump and his businesses have been involved in at least 3,500 legal actions in state and federal courts over the last 30 years, a Wednesday USA Today report found.

In more than half of the lawsuits — about 1,900 — Trump or his companies are the plaintiff, while in about 1,450 cases they are the defendant. The rest are bankruptcy or other cases.

The lawsuits involved a range of issues including casino patrons, multi-million dollar real estate lawsuits, personal defamation suits, Trump’s golf courses and business ventures.

Trump is known for his legal battles and even threatened his Republican rivals with litigation in his quest to lock up the Republican nomination earlier this year.

While Trump may not have sued any of his political rivals, USA Today found that at least 70 new cases involving the candidate have been filed since he launched his campaign last year.

Fifty civil lawsuits remain open as Trump moves toward officially claiming the nomination at the Republican National Convention in late July, according to the report.

You can bet that Hillary and the Democrats have an army of investigators going through each and every one of those lawsuits and any morsel of info that could be used against the Donald will wind up in a commercial. File this under, “stuff it would have been useful to know before Trump clinched the nomination.”

Keep in mind also that he has said he wants to open up libel laws so that he can sue even MORE people, including those who would dare say a bad thing about him. If you saw the petulant performance he put on yesterday over journalists who questioned him about the veterans’ charity even he bragged about, you can only imagine what Emperor Trump will be like…
