Quite a bit of news has come out in the last hour on the big meeting between the US and N. Korea. Here’s the lowdown thus far:
Trump, with Abe, said:

-meeting with KJU "probably in early June" or "a little before that" or not at all
-5 locations eyed
-he's credited for progress between North & South
-North & South "have my blessing" to discuss ending "Korean war"
-"many" leaders request Mar-a-Lago trip. https://t.co/UTRD2Rivcz
Trump says that high level talks have already begun:

"We've also started talking to North Korea DIRECTLY. We have had direct talks at very high levels, extremely high levels with North Korea."

And now it’s being reported that US officials are in direct talks with Un himself to setup this big denuclearization meeting between him and Trump:
BREAKING NEWS: Senior US officials have spoken with North Korea’s KIM JONG UN himself to organize the meeting with Trump, I’m told.

Trump sounds very optimistic about all of this. But at the same time he seems cautious, realizing in the end that denuclearization is what matters, not the fact that the two of them will be sitting down at the table together.
As you know, I’m pretty dang skeptical about all of this. As was Bolton earlier this year. I doubt he’s changed his tune since then and feel like he’s giving Trump the good advice on this he needs to hear.
