RETRIBUTION: Menendez officially indicted on corruption charges

THOU SHALT NOT GO AGAINST THE OBAMA:

THE HILL – Federal authorities have indicted Sen. Robert Menendez (D-N.J.) on corruption charges, the Wall Street Journal and the Associated Press reported on Wednesday.

The Journal says that Menendez faces a five count indictment for charges including conspiracy to commit bribery and honest services fraud.

The Justice Department has been leading an inquiry into Menendez for years. While they have reportedly probed his entire decades-long career in Congress — they are said to have focused on his relationship with Florida doctor and donor Salomon Melgen.

There have been allegations that Menendez inappropriately used his position to help Melgen’s business interests, though Menendez has steadfastly denied them.

As we pointed out earlier, this stinks to high heaven and it smells a lot like retribution for when Menendez recently blasted Obama on his Iran comments, saying they were talking points ‘straight out of Tehran’.

This is likely Obama’s way of ensuring that Netanyahu Menendez doesn’t get reelected again.
